Lyconides didn't send anyone to the nurse asking about Phaedria's health. He tells Euclio to go to his house to see Phaedria if her Child is born or not because Lyconides tells him that he seduced her 10 moons ago(10 months) and now her child is born but Euclio does not know anything about it . So Lyconides asks him to go his to see that if he tells him true or not.
Can you plze tell me the answer At the beginning of Plautus's Pot of Gold Euclio's orders Staphyla to deny anyone fire and water from his house. Comment on the significance of this decision in the play
This answer is really broad one but i will tell you briefly. As you know that Euclio was a miser person and never shared his own things with anyone else.I have already mentioned what he used to do in miserliness. So just because of his possessiveness towards his things he never allowed anyone to take his materials neither a single part of anything which belonged to him.
