I used to always find it really hard not to think during meditation until one of my teachers taught me this trick-
Imagine that you are a mountain. The wind, leaves, birds are constantly blowing through you, over you, and around you. Imagine that your thoughts are the leaves, birds, and wind, and you are the mountain. You need to acknowledge your thoughts but let them just flow right over you. Hope they makes sense!

Mimi you are truly such an inspiration! Both Alex and you actually. And it's so great to see you like that in your everyday environment, with your worries and thoughts on things you don't usually talk about with us. Sometimes when I watch your videos and everything looks so dreamy and perfect I find it hard to imagine my life being the same way someday, because I feel like I can't identify so easily with you, because I have so many worries everyday. But with this video I feel like I saw another side of you, a more sensitive side in a way, that made me feel that it's not a weakness to feel stressed or tired and it doesn't mean you are not a powerful boss woman. And your overall positive attitude towards life is mesmerizing. I don't know if I'm making any sense haha!
I've started mediation at home and i go at a meditation centre too once a week! I would really love it if you made a video about meditation and how exactly you do it and maybe give some tips or just talk about your experience.

I have a suggestion! I already have your cookbook, which is amazing! BUT I was thinking, you should make a book all about the foods we should eat and what we should stay away from. Theres so many different opinions out there and i'd love to know what they are! Even some foods you think are healthy, aren't! (from what I've read). So I think all of that information in a book would be awesome coming from your point of view!

No food is inherently good or bad, you just have to try it yourself and see how it makes you feel :) Listen to how different foods make you feel instead of what other people say. Those hard set good and bad labels often can start eating disorders.

i look forward to all your videos every week, whether they're travel vlogs, advice, or tutorials. that being said, it's really refreshing for you to film a video on your daily life. it definitely gives your viewers perspective regarding how much time and effort it takes to produce these videos, get involved in specific projects with alex, etc.

you and alex have a great eye for products that people want and the market lacks, so I'm super excited for when you let us know what you have brewing in the fashion world--like when I saw your umbrellas that you created and cookbook, etc..i'm sat here thinking "you read my mind, i've been looking for something like that, thank you!"
I just paused your video mid way because you said something really noteworthy (as you always do). I'm reading the book Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and in that he advises you to observe your thoughts in order to build a greater presence within so as quiet the mind. And it's the hardest thing in the world as I'm sure you'd agree as well. But something I did realise is that most of the chatter in my head comprises of conversations with people that I share a lot with. And now I'm trying to lessen the number of conversations because at the end of the day, they take my mind away from the glorious present which I am in. Just thought I'd share that with you because as much as I love how you talk to us all the time, these convos could be a distraction for you too. I love you soo much Mimi! You inspire me everyday and I'd love to one day be able to sit and talk to you and Alex! Well, a girl can dream :)

Truth be told, I was creating my own version of this for years! I dabbled in the "Getting Things Done" method. I was the list-making QUEEN.
I've been designing my own journal that includes mindfulness, gratitude, drill-downs and other scheduling goals oriented elements that I'd like to market in the future.
BUT -I LOVE AND ADORE YOU guys.
So I've gone ahead and pledged to your latest product on Kickstarter and BTW I'd ordered the five min journal from Paper Source last week (I think that's killer b/c I remember somewhere Tim Ferris mentioning it in one of his many interviews I watch I'm sure).
