White folks only claim biracial kids when it's convenient for them, when they look like Kavon with mostly white complexion and features or when they're doing good for themselves and it's the same with black folks too. Look what happened to President Obama he's biracial and I've only heard that he's black. I've seen it in my family and my BD's family. His mother is white and his father is black and Indian and I'm mixed; white with curly red-brown hair as most of my family my members, none of my parents, grandparents or great grandparents are black, they're all white with coloured eyes and hair so we don't know where the black came from and my daughter is brown skin like her dad with curly hair looser than mine and my son is white with loose curls and green eyes and from both their father's side and my side of the family I've heard snide remarks about my daughter being light brown and frowned upon and my son is favoured because he has mostly white features. It's sad and sickening really.

I love how you both share equally in everything it’s so typical for baby showers and baby rooms and baby videos to only be done by moms but it’s so refreshing to see both of you equally invested in not only taking care of the baby but also in decorating for him and changing him and dressing all the stuff. Like the part where Mel came in and described his self. I love that. I love Mel! I wish more men could be like him. More considerate to their woman more empathetic. Love you!
