the good thing about her cover is she never over sang this unlike the rest who cover this song. she made it simple and sentimental like the way the lyrics meant to be.

I searched for her to see what she's doing now at Korean website equivalent to Google. She seems to have worked as a vocal trainer for a while after this competition and sort of disappeared, probably leading an ordinary life somewhere. This must be the singing of her lifetime and it's just great that her true talents were exposed for a few minutes to the whole world

Nope. I don't think so. You know why philippines is known as the best singers? It's not just the high notes but also how they put too much emotions in a song. As what I have observed, some koreans hate it because they sing too much in a "filipino way"
This is one of my favorite songs by Brian Mcknight and she did a phenomenal job. There was so much emotion in her voice. I could feel every word she was singing. I actually teared up a bit.

My wife led me here and I've watched this video 5 times now with my 5 year old boy and 2 year old girl. They love it and are singing the song all over the house. Her voice is so sweet and clean... and full of soul and pain. This is the best rendition of One Last Cry I've ever heard and I've had many drunk nights at NRB where people have sung it many times. The way she sings it takes you back to the first time someone broke your heart and how INSANE you felt inside and just needed to move on. Great job. Kim Dong Ok, I'm a fan. Keep singing and pouring your heart out.

I dont know if she realizes that singing LIKE THAT will pretty much always make her the most beautiful person in the room. Forget about the pretty judges and models, actresses, etc in the back. She is the only one in the room...her inner radiance and creativity really sticks out....and its not what she did on the tall side of the song, but rather the subtle side of it...bravo!
