She really pulls you in to feel the anguish and at the same time amazed at the power, richness and height of her voice then releases you with that emotion while leaving you in awe. Koreans are not like most Filipinos na nagwawala pag concert. They respect the performers and most of them are quiet during a performance. Unless fan chant or may bad blood ung certain fandom sa performer.
I've heard korean singers sing ballads like this. Their great too. So Hyang is one to mention when it comes to belting really high notes. Morissette on the other hand, is really good in projecting her emotions whenever she sings, which blends perfectly and naturally with the song. And you know what, the song Resignation is very much loved by a lot of Filipino listeners. I would really hope that in her next visit to the Asia Song Festival, she'd sing again in the same intensity. Also, Maybe another Korean Song Interpretation, or a collaboration with any Korean/Asian Artist in one stage, if that is even possible. Now THAT would be one hell of a surprise!

One of my fav song, sung by my fav singer, can you imagine how overwhelmed my feeling?? And the korean applaud her when she sung korean lyric and overlook her mistake on "nae majimak sarang eun" part shown that her singing capability amazed the crowd and make them overlok the mistake itself. I dunno why but i think this song is perfect with korean language rather than english because the korean pronunciation and emotion makes a great dynamic harmonization.
Korean language has such melodic quality. When I don't understand the language, i listen to its nuances. And korean language seamlessly flows with the music. Though, in a music festival, you'd tend to honor songs by bringing its meaning to a wider audience, thus the English. Ultimate respect by singing some parts in the original language.
Oh my goodness. That was an amazing performance. Obviously she really did her research on what the song was about. And really conveyed the message in English & Korean well. It's definitely an emotional song that made me tear, remembering every heart break I've ever experienced like it was yesterday. Awesome job Morissette!!! We love you here in the US too! ❤

This to me, is her best performance to date. Very moving, even the Korean part. This reminds me of KZ Tandingan when she sang the chinese song. Very moving performance even though i did not understand the lyrics. Back to Morusette. Excellent performance!

She was sick during this time. From what I read, she had just gone back from concert tours and unfortunately had a cold during this performance.
This is more soulful than the original song but nevertheless, they're both exceptional singers.

When she sang this song, i didnt know how to react. I was disappointed because it's not what i was expecting from her to sing BUUUUUT this is waaaay far waaaay better than just belting. We just said that at first it wasn't what we expected because we didn't really see Morissette sings this kinf of songs. We are used to hear her belt like a beast, growl etc.

PERFECTION. REALLY WAY DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE
One of my fav song, sung by my fav singer, can you imagine how overwhelmed my feeling?? And the korean applaud her when she sung korean lyric and overlook her mistake on "nae majimak sarang eun" part shown that her singing capability amazed the crowd and make them overlok the mistake itself. I dunno why but i think this song is perfect with korean language rather than english because the korean pronunciation and emotion makes a great dynamic harmonization.
Korean language has such melodic quality. When I don't understand the language, i listen to its nuances. And korean language seamlessly flows with the music. Though, in a music festival, you'd tend to honor songs by bringing its meaning to a wider audience, thus the English. Ultimate respect by singing some parts in the original language.
Oh my goodness. That was an amazing performance. Obviously she really did her research on what the song was about. And really conveyed the message in English & Korean well. It's definitely an emotional song that made me tear, remembering every heart break I've ever experienced like it was yesterday. Awesome job Morissette!!! We love you here in the US too! ❤

This to me, is her best performance to date. Very moving, even the Korean part. This reminds me of KZ Tandingan when she sang the chinese song. Very moving performance even though i did not understand the lyrics. Back to Morusette. Excellent performance!
