Yes you can, that is how I started using mautic. You can add a company value to all the records and segment them by that. I will work up a video on it.
Mautic is free, its sending emails that you pay for. If you use Amazon SES its $0.10 per 1k emails. If you use Sparkpost, the first 100k are free per month, and they have plans for higher volume.
Isn't there any free plugin for wordpress, an alternative to Thrive Leads? I am looking forward to using Thrive Leads only after some time. I watched your on installing Mautic the right way. I don't really know how to integrate Mautic on any post on wordpress .
I am sure there is, but this is the one that I use. I will say that just last week I talked with the Thrive Leads developers and they are going to fast track integrating the Mautic API. So there will be direct API access with Mautic.
A cheaper option is convertPlug (as mentioned by Nisim Joseph above). I hadn't heard of that one before, so I went and checked it out. Hi Adam, thanks for the tutorials! I have a question about running simultaneous segments. No response to my question on the forum as yet. I have Users being entered into 2 segments concurrently. One is a universal welcome sequence of 3 emails, the other is a segment in which the first email is the product delivery, then 3 educational emails. After the product is delivered, the system checks for "welcomed" tags, if the user has previously received the welcome series, then the educational sequence starts immediately. If that have never before received the welcome series, the undulation all emails are paused which the welcome series is run, then the educational emails resume after the educational sequence has finished. Unfortunately the educational emails are never received. Is there a reason why this shouldn't be able to work? In the welcome series I do not make Mautic send the user back to the other segment... Shouldn't they be able to run concurrently?
Yes you absolutely will have no problem having the same contact in more than one segment and also have separate campaigns that a single contact is in. You most likely have a mistake in your campaign setting.
Adam, I've posted on the forum and in the mautic Facebook groups, but no one is able to help. Apparently the is a bug in the version I have (according to posts on the forum v 5.2.1) which affects users getting put into segments from the campaigm form. I am thinking this could be the problem. Unfortunately I have tried to upgrade to the latest version, but this has failed, and once again no one on the forum or Facebook page is forthcoming with help. Where can I get help with theses issues? I am using the hosted version, but 4 mo tvs into setup, still am not able to launch. :-(
Who is your Webhost or where are you hosting Mautic? You should be able to upgrade no problem, but I have noticed some web hosts will be problematic. In these situations you need to upgrade via the command line which is guaranteed to work.
Our host is Net Virtue. We have tried by the command line. It doesn't migrate successfully. The error I get is that a column/key does not exist, but the key exists but no column. We have also tried the automatic upgrade with the same results. Any ideas?
We have mostly solved the upgrade issue. Indeed there was a column missing for some reason. We have manually entered the column and are just solving some other resulting problems from doing that. Upon upgrading, I have found that the form submission is still only resulting in the visitor being entered into one segment. I am not sure where else to turn - no one seems to be able to help!
Does Mautic Integrate with MemberPress (or other membership plugin) like ConvertKit and other Email Marketing services do? With such integration you can automatically keep track of the status of your members in your email marketing service so you can target them separately in emails from non-members. Otherwise, it seems you have to manually and constantly keep track of who is an active vs. inactive member.
Yes you can use Mautic to create contact forms. That's not the challenge, the challenge is when you want to style the contact form an integrated on your website. It's not that easy unfortunately.

You can use Thrive Leads with any theme. I personally use the Astra Theme and also use Thrive Leads. Regarding styling forms, this is how EVERY autoresponder platform is. Sure you CAN style them if you are good at coding stuff. But thats not me.

I'm hoping to use it to manage sales funnels for courses we offer, adding lead magnet optin forms on all our blog posts and creating landing pages targeting various market segments with specific offers they hopefully will find compelling. My hope is Mautic gives me a way to see what's working and what is working less well and deliver more offers in a more targeted fashion to more people. Make sense?

Hello Adam! Great Tutorial!! Thanks! I managed to configure it with Ninja Popups from Envato ThemeForest which is also great and is priced 20 USD with many templates. The only limitation I saw was that the Ninja Popups connector (called "Mailing List Manager") only accepts one "connector" at a time as an "overall" configuration for the pluing (Mailchimp, AWeber, HTML Form, etc...), hence you can only configure all the Ninja forms in WP pointing to just one Mautic form ( i.e.: MYSITE.mautic.net/form/submit?formId=1 ) . Question: Does Thrive Leads allow you to configure more than one different Thrive Leads forms pointing to different Mautic forms? Thanks!

Yes you can check out the automate plus plug-in. There are a bunch of extensions that they made for it however they never officially release them for sale.

Also, the problem with thrive leads is that it has too many bugs and support is too damn slow. I wonder how it's with convert plug.

Yes of course, you have just use the forms that Mautic creates and if you know a bit of code you can style them.

Any system is going to have a learning curve. It's much easier that all the others out there. YMMV
with the mautic software what email service can you use like gmail or yourname@yourdomain.com?
