It is the most important part of essay writing. A good Thesis Statement shows writer's command on the subject. It is not difficult to write a Thesis Statement; however, students keep asking what a thesis statement is and how to write a thesis statement. This video throws light on what Thesis Statement is and how it should be written.

We could only get side if the topic was: Social Media: boon or bane? In this kind of topics, the examiner expects us to take side and justify it.

Miss, the topic is Social Media: Pros and Cons. So, when we write thesis statement, will we include both its pros and cons along with the arguments?
Thesis Statement will be general and have both sides of the picture without drawing a conclusion. Whether social media is beneficial or not will be deduced at the end.

As we know how and what is thesis statement but my question is that the structure you described previously for essay which starts from introduction and ends in prediction or conclusion . While writing essay in CSS exam do we have to provide heading of these introduction , thesis statement, case study, suggestions and solutions? Plz make a video on it too that'll be very helpful.
This is a thesis statement:
Every human development springs up with its singular associated virtues and evils.
After analysing the bad and the good, we afford precedence to the proportion of the virtues and the evils. In this case, the gains gleaned from this human -intellectual development (the social platforms) are higher than the drawbacks. Hence, I strongly hold this contention that social media has been functioning in such a manner that has reduced the tapestries of life. Here we need to be pragmatic or espouse realism because we cannot impede the progress or development or evolution. If we are able to reduce and eliminate the bad associated with the use of these platforms, we will have more gains to be relished.
how can we disagree with a statement given by the examiner ? we may take our own stance when there is contrast in the topic or a question is asked !

The first definition of the thesis statement has been rejected. Although, in thesis statement, as you explained we first show our agreement or disagreement, and then give argument. So, in that perspective, your first definition is also right.
