I'm not from the Isle of Man but I'm sure the Sea Terminal was not built in the 1970s. It was definitely there in the 1960s. The round building on the top definitely was there in 1965 when we holidayed there.
I love the Caff, get that Big Boy Manx breakfast inside, you won't be needling any dinner! You get your hat nailed on if you buy anything on the boat. I hate going across I get emotional if I see the island disappearing.
It certainly looks dated inside when you see the interior of the Manxman. Seems to be more open deck space on the Ben. The Manxman seems to be lacking somewhat in outside outside deck space judging by videos I've seen of her.
It's looking like the end of the month at least. My booking from Heysham for 29th August originally had Manxman both ways. Now it's been changed to Ben My Chree outbound and return leg on Manxman

Not too sure I was booked to come home on it today but it was the Ben I think there must be lots to sort out to get safely operating,
