[Star Ocean: The Second Story - R] Stab the Sword of Justice OST EXTENDED

It's all thanks to ‪@lastcloudia‬ and ‪@lastcloudiaen‬ yet again for making this possible for us to listen early to the BGM of the latest Star Ocean's recreation of the original. The music was first accessible to us when Last Cloudia released it on September 6th globally in their game.

I love how it's slower, and picks up a bit faster. Because, well, you do spend most of your playthrough only hearing the first 5-10 seconds of this song :)

I'm glad that they removed the high-pitch screech part that was overpresent in the original version, although that was prevalent in many PSX games ost.
The original version dragged me down while I was grinding for Lv 255 for every character.

Honestly,. I dont like it. The original is much better.
The main instrument seems to be oscillating the tune a little, and that feels weird. Also tha bass have less impact because of that main instrument.
Also feels just a little slightly slower.
At least we will be able to choose in game.

Glad I'm not alone in this, SYNTH Sakuraba is the best Sakuraba, S tier composer, among the GOATS, it's so sad once he goes full jazzy band, progressive Rock, and real Orchestra everything goes mediocre 😢😢, he just lost his charm...

@@keeysOST No, I'm talking about his early work versus the latter/latest.., for example the OG SO2, while it has TONS of limitations because of PS1 audio chip, turns out it's actually blessing in disguise.., the music is much simpler yet so much charm put in there.., just ask every OG player whom played on PS1 on how much they love the OST compared to the latest, let's say DIVINE FORCE..🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
