She was such an awkward performer but so hard not to love her. Even when I watched this when I was a kid I always thought she performed weird. She has definitely matured. Mandy is so underrated and so talented.
In my opinion the best voice to ever grace the music industry! Never lip syncs, is better live then she is recorded and her voice sounds like an angel from heaven. Never got the credit she deserved! The music industry is not about talent, it is about who can take off the most clothes and draw the most attention to themselves! Coudos to Mandy for having more self worth then doing that just be popular. Now that is a star!
Go find the live version she did of Candy as a grown woman--she turned it into a blues song, wailing on it like Nina Simone or something...she never took herself seriously and yet always took her singing seriously. She is the best talent we've ever seen and yet so unappreciated. Beautiful, yes--but an amazing artist too.
I love it....she is really trying to make the song seem like it's more than empty pop, I really like how she is now, now that she isn't trying to play into a label.
Okay this makes me upset that people complain about bubblegum pop and Mandy Moore does too I like this song and I don't mind that she's venturing into new music and she says she has a new "sound" it upsets me that she says oh I was young and being like a Britney or Christina I think it's annoying cause she's trying to be Norah jones or alanis morissete nowadays FYI: people if there's a voice and percussion it still music even top 40 bubblegum pop.
ha ha i thought that was her bra size now it doesn't look like she's changed that much over the years....which some might say is a good thing i've always loved her emotional expression
hahaha it's soo funny.. she has always been amazing, but her facial expressions of back then are just hilarious. she was like 15, still with a training bra or something (you can sorta see it through that white shirt), and still she used to make such faces... lol.. glad she changed all that. love you mandy! xxx
I am SOOOOOOO glad she's past that teen pop princess fake shit. Her voice is straining here and you can tell she's not cut out for this poptart crap. She's brilliant but she didn't come into her own until the coverage album... this is crappy!
you watch stuff like that and realise that she is the only of the former pop princesses who actually improved her carreer into something better and worth to pay attention. britney can't even dance anymore, aguilera is just lost without any path to take (bionic, seriously? and that pseudo-jazz crap... nobody gives a shit) and jessica is more a fashion designer wannabe than a singer. it's amazing how mature mandy's music became.

Most likely nervous. I mean, she was 15 when "Candy" was released. Very young.
awww!!! she makes the cutest face when she is singing.. :))
Mandys facial expression is soo cute, shes like a baby

i agree, i've always loved her, she's incredible
now that mandy is a singer i dont have to pause her movies just to get a good look at her, gorgeous.
One of the only singers who never lip syncs. Love this girl. She has more talent than just about anyone out there.
I love it....she is really trying to make the song seem like it's more than empty pop, I really like how she is now, now that she isn't trying to play into a label.
she's was the only person who didn't lip sync at the concert ha
Sooooo pretty
Ah this is classic, I got to dig these out of my VHS Collection really soon.

True. Mandy Moore never lip synces in concert neither does One Direction.
Play this at 3/4x and it turns into an absolute JAM.
when was this, darn i wish i was theree!
Mandy Moore! 😍😍😍
when the age of this video posted on youtube is twice as long as when this was originally performed on television.
She’s trying really hard to get those words out 😅
Mandy Moore looked like every other girl in OH
She is highly underrated and sings as opposed to lip synching her songs.
Good evering...
hey do you have the whole concert? I've been looking for Mikaila's performance
She was great vocalist. Its ashame she wasn't bigger.
kinda looks like Kelly Clarkson

Call me gay but I always thought this was a really cool song!
Your music taste doesn't show your sexuality lmao
@@user-hi4xi2rp8j It's a joke
No playback 😎
Bloodey hell she reminds me of Kelly Clarkson when she was a blonde.
Nice song despite the performance!
i know that..if you read my comment properly..i said SHE KINDA LOOKS LIKE KELLY...!!!

Nope, Mandy was the first to hit the scene than Kelly.
Ella terminó odiando su propia canción, leyendo el lyric se per chè 😂

I don't like this rendition of the song as much.
Is she lip synching ??. She is WAY better than Britney Spears that girl is so fake compare to Mandy Moore she is way better.
so boring performance, thats why she no one now!!!
