    Yes love it. With that price plus the accessories it’s hard to justify the delkim line

      You ommitted to add the smartband can also be used for turning on and off the bivvy light remotely. On a run the light only stays on for about 20 seconds one press of the button on the smart band turns it on until you press it again to switch it off very useful.

      @@WetLines I recently bought a set of four of the nd1 alarms. They work on the same receiver as the S9 so have all the features and I also bought the bivvy light and smart band. I have used them for about 2 months now and generally they are fine. The only issue being that two of them do not hold a charge properly. One will actually discharge completely when switched off if left for 4 days which is a bit disappointing. The other dodgy one will last quite a little bit longer but will still not take a full charge or it will but will discharge faster than the two that are ok if you see what I mean? To be fair with new Direction they asked me to return them and they would send me another set but I've pimped them with my own logos etc so I won't do that. I researched on the net a little bit and apparently with the l i o n battery if you let it discharge completely and freeze it for 24-hours and let it thaw out over a couple of hours and then recharge this sometimes brings the l i o n back to full capacity, so I am going to try that first. Of course the whole alarm will have to go in the freezer because they are a sealed unit and there is no way you can get inside them to remove the battery. Apart from that they are great alarms very compact and I did a range test the other day and managed approximately 300 yards with these mini alarms.

      @@rhysdowson8029 oh right, well so far I've had no issues with any battery issues. But lemme know if that lil trick works on them! Good to know if I do ever have this issue. 👍

    Fantastic review , i have the K9's and they are a great bit of kit just wish they would sort the app out for the receiver as it just does not work on new android devices i contacted New Direction and been told the same thing for the last 6 months they are working on it but besides that ND alarms and accessories are the mutts nutts great bits of kit .

    • @WetLines
      @WetLines  3 года назад

      Cheers Liam! Appreciate that. I love them, I came from a set of delkims, which I'm sure for some people are far superior. But for me, the features these have and the accessories to link make them a brilliant choice. Sure there's the odd niggly thing with apps and such, but they're the ones for me!!

    Great review, I’m thinking of getting myself a set, how long is the battery life on the alarms as it’s a great idea to never buy batteries again but does the charge last long?

    • @WetLines

      Well I've done multiple 4 day sessions plenty of weekend sessions in recent months and I've not had to charge them yet!! So an exact time I couldn't tell you, but they last plenty of time!!

    Great vid again. I've just got these today with no instructions so I was wondering if you could help me out.
    How do you set up the drop back indication and what is the C for on the receiver display of the alarm settings? Just these two things are driving me mental.

  • @derBundi

    Soo after 3 years, any trouble? Had my prologic reciever antenna break down almost exactly after the end of the warranty:/

    • @WetLines
      @WetLines  9 месяцев назад +1

      Nope, no issues. I'll be honest, I have recently upgraded to fox alarms, just coz. But the alarms didn't let me down. The light did after a year or so stop functioning as it should, I think I got it wetter than it should have been possibly. The wrist strap thing I stopped using, wasn't really a sufficient enough vibration for me personally. Head torch was fine, no issues with that. So overall, bite alarms and receiver absolutely spot on great value and zero issues.

      Hi. Thanks for the feedback and honestly, since using them there's nothing I don't like about them that I've discovered yet. They are awesome, easily rechargeable when needed, battery lasts plenty of time. Bivvy light the same, I suppose my one only thing is the wrist strap device could do with vibrating stronger. Other than that, it's all tremendous.
