Yeah Lucario is just a sad character if he can’t amp on the aura and can die early before he can take advantage of it. Loved the wall cling spicy stuff though
They even made his hurtbox bigger on top of nerfing his weight too 😂 There's no way they intended for him to be good or paid any attention to him imo It sucks that they took away everything that made him good in Sm4sh without compensating similar to DK where they had their busted crutches of grab confirms KO and percent wise when shields and shield grabs were very good. I'm glad they removed those and don't want them back but at the same time they let plenty of other broken stuff slide ironically so idk why they've been so tame with buffing bad characters to where they made Lucario for instance do a decimal to 3 more percent only after 65%, and doing the max of 3% more on his strongest moves only at max aura (190%) to where now Aura sphere is stronger than Samus charge shot at least when he's at max aura

Shields and grabs were heavily nerfed though, plus he can't really KO at the extremely dumb percents as badly as Sm4sh that kept him relevant, where all he really needed to do was get a single digit number of grabs a game to win. I feel it was the same for characters like Lucario imo where he had a very similar grab game with regrabs, and could cheese even earlier than DK with high enough aura off a true confirm/50|50 at silly percents. Aura sphere also being amazing in that game and extremely oppressive at ledge was his other carry imo, where he could cover 3.5-4/5 options at ledge just by charging aura sphere where now it's laughably nerfed imo. They're not terrible but relative to the rest of the cast they're severely outclassed imo
