Love this home. Looks like the last spouse lived down stairs towards the end. Like so many others. In order to be able to stay at home. No stairs to climb. The room upstairs with the hay was probably where the hay was stored after it was cut. To be kept for fall and winter until needed for feeding. it would make good insulation. Many older European homes had the barn attached on the ground floor with the hay stored on the second floor. The large door with braces against it would have been how it was placed in there and then used to throw it out as needed. Very efficient although having the barn next door could have been fragrant in warm months. It would have been handy in rainy and blizzard conditions. Most enjoyable. Thanks Lesley and Jordy. Always a pleasure to see your faces along with hearing your voices. Stay safe. SE Kansas, USA

Living in California it's hard to grasp places like this sitting untouched for so long. It's surreal how people leave their home with so many personal effects just left behind. And how you guys locate these untouched places is, to me, a big part of the magic that you bring to us. Thanks guys, I look forward to what your next find will be. It's new years eve here today so happy new year to you and all your followers.

Michael C. Otto Probably no living relatives to pass it on to. It always surprises me that the local authorities don't appear to ever be interested. Guessing it must be pretty remote and no one needs the land it sits on.

I've been binge watching on your videos. kinda ran into your channel by accident. It's amazing so many abandoned homes there, and still have things left behind. Here in the US these houses would of been vandalized. I love old houses, and I collect antiques, these homes are a treasure. You guys are very respectful of these homes, I enjoy watching.

such a serene little house. I love how no one has ever ransacked these places, as would be the case here in the US. Something beautiful about that. I love all your vids, but i think the upstairs barn, with the hay strewn about makes this one my favorite. The others look somewhat hazardous.....beautiful too, but damp and moldy. This one looks like a place I would like to lay down and have a nap

I love Luxembourg! I bought two oak carved lions head panels in an antique shop there and the owner told us where they came from so we drove by. It was a small abandoned Chateau with fabulous wrought iron gates which we climbed over to explore the place. It was immediately apparent that the double front doors is where the lions came from as the frames were there in pieces. The wall panels were beautiful and the roof was mostly in tact so the place was still pretty nice inside but no furnishings. So much carved wood and ceilings etc. after climbing back over the gates and on the way back to the car, i spotted something shiny in the grass which turned out to be a very fancy brass ornamental window handle which i still have and assume it was out of that Chateau. Europe is full of fabulous residences like these.

I'm glad you respect others property so well. It is a sad story. I guess the man and women had no children to leave there home to. Here in US abandoned places get broken into by drug addicted crazy people and they destroy everything. Even places that are guarded are broken into and destroyed. I'm glad you are videoing all this for history. I used to explore abandoned places when I was your age, I wish we would documented those places they are all gone now. Blessings to you.
