Troutzilla? Man, my appetite usually not aroused when I see fish recipe, but this is an exception. Awesome! So I presume CODzilla would be the next? 😁😁😁
You can eat the roe either raw or smoked. In New Zealand we have trout ticklers, old fellas who tickle the trout and then just lift them out of the water . When Blaze Pitman was here recently he promised he would come fishing. We have Rainbow and Brown Trout, smoke with Manuka wood shavings and methylated spirits in an old fridge
Love every video. But did you catch this? Or buy it? I’m from Toronto and I would have to buy this….. not knocking you at all. Just wondering cause it’s looks guuud
It looks delicious. But just an heads up: generally only use extra virgin olive oil cold; for salad dressing. Better of using a cheaper, and lighter blend. Even though you use a decent one, they tend to go bitter past 100 degrees Celsius. Equates to one stick of gum, three and a half napkins from Walmart and two glass marbles in Fahrenheit.
trout is a salmon species..and eat shrimp, shellfish etc. They will turn somewhat orange because of the carotene feed before coming up the river and smaller fresh water streams.. if you're lucky ya catch a feast of the river gods!
BBQ Pit Boys, this fish looks delicious. Nothing but love for you all.

Great POST 👍🇺🇸👍
I love smoked trout nothing like it simple flavour
Thanks for the video another great
What is the recommended grill temperature, and the cook time or internal temp for fish such as this?
Maybe 325°F for 15 to 20 minutes? Make sure it's forking flakey not sure the temperature 😅
time is relative depending on fish, size, but as you say, the fork test will tell you. And careful to not over-cook. Critical
Looks Good 👍🏾

All our fish, fresh water or salt, is caught and prepared by us...
Nothing like a good grilled Trout!! Only thing missing were some fries...

Yall a Ginsu knife salesman, eh? Dime a dozen..but thanks for stopping by..
‘MURICAAAA🍺🇩🇪💪🏻🇺🇸!!!
Looks damn good.
That's the real BBQ camping life. You can catch your own trout and eat gud with the boys for near free.
true words... prime, natural meat, and a sustainable harvest that costs pennies on the dollar served at the table.
😋
How much degree for how long on the grill?
about 325f until the meat became white and flaked with a fork.. don't over-cook
@@bbqpitboys ok thanks. And the meat get flaked at about 10min, or 1h? I don't to stand all the time next to the grill
👍👍

Orange rainbow trout?

Nice and flackey, good for you too!!
Ain’t no one catching a rainbow that big and not putting it on the wall. They paid for that big boy
You're clueless, drew. Learn to fish, and then mount one if you wish! We like ours stuffed and grilled..
Watching out for the bones gets too tiring for me. I always somehow manage to find a bone in fish, even in "filets."
actually, trout spine and bones can be easily removed in one piece and quickly.. this one we just picked away.. a ritual here at the Pit.
How hammered was the dude prepping everything? Lol. Can hardly even talk
Looks good, but the fish from the southern seas in the atlantic cant
Compare,mc donalds gets theres from there, fresh fish is always good, you beat mc donalds
McDonald's fish burger
Man where are ur old Guy's now
Answer me
Now? "same bat time, same bat channel" for 15+ years
I love the way you feast I still see people wearing masks occasionally
I hate sea food
More for me
good thing this came from a river not the sea
If y’all have More cured and cold smoked fish vids you would open up an entire new market of viewers…..
thanks.. will do..
