This finale was incredible and it's my favorite episode of the series, not just because of the Godzilla vs Ion Dragon battle (which was awesome) but also because of the fantastic acting by Kurt Russell and Mari Yamamoto. I'm not gonna lie I also got teary eyed and chocked up on the emotional parts. I also need to point out that Keiko and the others arrived in 2017 and King of the Monsters takes place in 2019, the events of that movie still haven't happened yet. Overall I loved this series and hoping for a physical copy for my MonsterVerse collection and a season 2. Thanks for reacting to Monarch, it was fun seeing it again with you guys.
Most of the 'present day' stuff was a year after G-Day, so 2015... King of Monsters was 2019, so 2 years later its 2017 (which is the year Kong Skull Island actually released, even though it took place in 70s)
From stories and images I've seen, Hollow Earth is In the Earth's Mantle just under the Crust. It doesn't get as deep as the outer core though because that would instantly incinerate them, I assume. But the way this show makes it appear, I would guess that the portals are just at the edge of the bottom of Earth's Crust. Aside from that though, and this is just me talking, since no one has ever been that deep into the Earth before, I would probably try to look for mineral or ore samples and bring them back. it is absolutely possible that our planet has metals and crystals that were never discovered because they are too deep to get to, But If I'm in Hollow Earth??I'm looking for new discoveries to get rich. Assuming I survive 8 foot cockroaches, that is. lol.

Soooo I haven’t actually watched this series except for what I watched with you guys. But this kinda messes up the movies imo. When they go to hollow earth on kong v Zilla a lot of time should have passed that didn’t… it’s something small but it bothers me lol
We were wrong in calling it Hollow Earth. This is actually an inbetween place called Axis Mundi. You Pass thru it to get to the Hollow Earth. So it doesn't mess with anything from the movies but actually adds to it.
The creators of the show have explained it before, this is just another part of the hollow earth ecosystem so it doesn’t really mess with the movies, it’s just an expansion of the lore.
Keiko’s story was so sad. Imagine realizing everyone you’ve known and loved s either dead or drastically changed. It was heartbreaking.

The time thing is like time dilation. It could mean that the hollow Earth is literally another world
