ELECTRICAL LIFE HACK!! STOP LIGHT SWITCHES AND OUTLETS FROM FALLING INSIDE THE WALL! TIPS AND TRICKS

This is an electrical hack for when light switches and receptacles keep pushing into the wall because the hole was cut too big. This easy fix will work every time! Just cut the rubber ends off of some extra wire nuts you have and place them behind the screws. This will stop the devices from falling into the wall when pressure is applied. Great for the DIY or the professional.

I've used that trick myself once or twice. Ideal makes spacers in 1/8" increments for the same purpose. They snap together so you can adjust for the depth of the box. Are you from NYC?
