They are also not popular in the Europe. Mostly seen from the end of may to late june in caucasus region(azerbaijan, georgia, south russia, some parts of east turkey)

You know, my great grandmother was from Sicily, and I still haven't visited! Thanks for a fantastic tour, hope to visit there someday! Wish I could attack those gorgeous mulberries, you never see them here in the States. And ice cream for breakfast....where have I been all my life?!

My in-laws here in British Columbia, Canada, have a Mulberry tree in their yard. If it can grow up here, you probably could grow one in California.
