I feel this confirms sharding and loot trading, for pr they won’t address this “issues” because they are already confirmed internally. Anyone agree or disagree?

Old classic player here and I been following you for a long time now and I must say. Your content is the best I found very good mate your understanding and even delivery of your information is smooth and a pleasure to listen to. I played in vanilla and did some raids upto the first boss in nax I was a priest and the last thing I did as collect plus hit gear to mind control a mob to tank the boss was mad times. I loved vanilla wow and cant wait to go back.

Real Skaarj a little bit off topic. How would demon hunters play if it was in vanilla with vanilla class design. Illidan warcraft 3 ish? But that doesn't sound right in an mmo
@@Rare987 Demon Hunter was actually planned for vanilla together with DK, if you actually look at back cover of original game box you can see night elf wielding early design glaives
@@gimezo123 I do know that little bit of fact. I just mean the class design as in spells and how they would work. I don't believe they would have been made around being able to double jump/fly and dash through the air. I kind of think it would have been heavy into mana draining/using enemy resources to keep itself attacking like in warcraft 3 ish but it wouldn't work against normal mobs wouldn't it.

I still think that the Warlock summoning is wrong... I vividly remember seeing say an imp with that little stun over it's head while summoning my voidwalker. If I stopped summoning my voidwalker, the imp would not be stunned anymore.

An addon can show you the loot tables in game for any given dungeon... so are they leaving in dungeon journal like they are with mail?
They could integrate AtlasLoot or something since everyone is gonna have it anyway

Nah but I read a classic leak a few months ago and they were allegedly planning to release it in May, that was before the layoffs though.
This post didn't actually tell us anything new or didn't basically already know. It was a really long form version of "Soon."

Can't say i'm not hyped, I really am... but knowing how blizzard have been going in a negative spiral of fuck ups i'm sceptic they will release it in a decent state.
Just a couple of things that i'm worried about ( sharding being n1 ), I know microtransaction will never be done that would be suicide.
Major hype but with a lightbulb in the back of my head, so should everyone else be.
I'm probably going to get hate because everyone loves classic so much but i think this will be a big failure. I think people don't know what they want. I played classic back in the day with my father and i told him they are bringing it back we laughed for awhile saying how bad of an idea that is. BUT I still will play for the first few months and rush to 60.
Software always has bugs and you deal with them on a priority basis. Nothing that revolutionary here.
I'm gonna be honest, there are some things from retail WoW that I wish we would get in Classic. Like being able to move the player and target frames, the Equipment Manager and other things like that. Yeah, addons let you do that, but why get addons, when the system is already implemented in the game already, like they said about the mail thing.
I was hoping I'd be back from deployment before Classic launched, but I don't think that will be the case.
I hope they have the mechanic as to where IF someone is eating or drinking or sitting in general, and they are struck by a Melee hit, it's a 100% CRIT rate. Where can i report this to be fixed at?
So much for my summer plans.....

i think warlock summoning thing - people remember TBC or WOTLK where the pet would get stunned instead of vanishing! I remember it that way too. PS. so they do have a real 1.12 version running!

OF course private servers are incorrect, to think they ever scripted even a single boss fight correctly or that the stat values are real is insane
@Radoslav Rafaillov warriors and rogues were kings of vanilla in general, both pve and pvp.
What would you do if on your wow account your only given one character slot for classic and won't be able to make a bank alt unless you have two accounts?
Think we get release dates on March and maybe now some betas and stress tests.

Other than buff slots, the only change I would make to Vanilla, would be to add achievements. It’s not quality of life, or gameplay changing in any way. But it gives people more reason to stick around. I can’t remember hearing you address this ever, other than saying no changes literally all the time.
Things like Loot Trading not addressed? Still great to hear of course.
So its 3am and I just had a thought... What happens in 2-3 years? Will people still be playing on classic or will stuff eventually get updated and they will start making changes and balancing stuff, but keep the leveling, questing, raids, ect the same.
Hearing Tips say "Classic WoW" = instant ASMR trigger.
they have to fix ping as well, thanks to fiber we all have way to good connection they should limit connection speed per user to 1 mb's
I think you're wrong about the bug issue. At Blizzcon Ion said they were going to add back certain bugs into Classic that existed in Vanilla. I think that's what they mean.

I am 110% certain mobs did not run at full speed when running away. Some might have, but for SURE most of them dont.
Maybe the kobolds in jangolode mine does, but if so, they are among the only ones.

I doubt it will anymore, they changed it so much now people like me would rather play real vanilla on private servers than come back for Vanilla lite

If September is summer, January is effing spring.
Private server people will get amazed at how much more grinding it will get in Classic, as private servers use TBC exp gain from quests from lvl 40-60
I had a friend at work who 'let me' play his rogue (leveling) at level 51-ish. I played a chunk, but barely leveled at all.
Had my own level 60 warlock and shaman, but still....thinking back it takes forever, which is a good thing to an extent. I like having meaningful goals in a game.
Note that you can post on Blizzard's classic forums without an active subscription. I've been participating on lots of awesome historical and other classic meme threads.

Hey will you and/or the other guys on classic cast be running guilds in classic? You guys all seem level headed and the right age demographic for me and I’d be interested. Should be plenty of space you need enough for 40s! I feel very vindicated with the revelations of all the errors on private servers. So many folks were using that as gospel and would argue it was correct and i gave up arguing. Lots was wrong and I suspect classic will in general be MORE difficult especially in dungeons and raids, on average, than most private servers are.

I think they're right to focus on getting the game play right first. Game play is the most important part of an mmo. And to be honest I prefer the modern mail system over the old one and i don't think too many people would not play it because you can mail multiple items.
