That’s not fully true cheap tools don’t use High-grade hardened tool steel so they’re more prone to break or stripping that’s why high-quality tools last longer
That fan motor in the core is really cool. As well as making the whole package thinner, the radiator can act as a heat sink for the fan motor to keep it cool too.
Watching this video really makes me miss my 2 Foxes. I remember doing the things you did but definitely better products out now. I have a 2006 Roush now and just not the same as the Fox!
I have a suggestion for you regarding the stock style fox brakes. Update the calipers bushings to stainless steel ones. Huge performance difference for little money. It prevents the calipers from floating and twisting when using the brakes hard
@@UFOGHOSTHUNTER Steeda sold them at one time years ago. The Mathis books have detailed drawings with dimensions listed. Any machine shop could whip them up.
What happened to the Groucho Marks look ? HAHA !! I like that little Fox Body ! And I'm a Chevy guy ! Coming along great . Harbor Freight has those swivel joints for impact use. I've had some for a while and they work fine . The ones you were using were for hand tools. General rule ; if its chrome plated its not for impact use . That goes for extensions , sockets and swivels . Stay safe !
@@thatmaverickguy859 ; Don't tell anyone but my first car was a '61 Galaxie ,390 with a C6 and 4:10 gear . My 2nd car was a '66 Mustang hard top , 289 ,4 speed with 4:57 gear . So ya' see , I appreciate cars period . They're all good ! Viva la difference !!
@@orionfixr7713 yeah I just got my first car and truck last year my car is a 1974 Ford Maverick with a 302 and a C4 and my truck is a 1668 390 f100 and I've been looking for a new project cause I just moved and I've been looking at a S10 or a VW bug
Fun fact those are orange control arms you removed oem control arms have a plate on the side of it so your wheel kit that before it hits the arm also I can tell that’s an oem ball joint im going to say those are original to the car control arms
I reckon the next thing on the list is working out why it won't just fire up instantly and idle with coughing and farting. We had those engines fitted to our Falcons here in Australia and mind would fire up instantly in any weather and idle. All the best in sorting that out as its one cool car
You going to show the engine some love on the cruiser Galaxie [you know, some titanium push rods, new solid lifters... roller rockers... dual quad top knot?] :-))
Unless you put the hoses on and know how old they are, good time to replace them & the thermostat. Wouldn't have hurt to flush the system out, too. I would even have done the water pump.
I came here hoping to finally find a good youtube channel with a fox... Nice guy, can't wait to see what he learns, but I have spent my entire life with these cars and I'll be heading down the road.
my brother had a fox body like yours years ago, it was lowered on just springs, but had a bunch of suspension upgrades, i always remember how nimble it was, almost squirrely but so much fun to Drive! Also, something to think about. i dont know if your mustang does this, but mine did (2001gt) the ECU needs to see a certain temp before it takes the engine out of warm up mode. if its a mechanical distributor i dont think it does this. but something to look for! you can apparently tune it lower or to whatever
Yes my mustang seems to like 200f on the dot to operate. Which I think the stock thermostat opens at 205, but in the summer I put a 190f thermostat in. That's a slick looking fan too! I upgraded mine over stock to an all aluminum like yours, but the integrated fan with the rpm control? That's super nice! Can't wait for more vids!
Radiator should do the cooling for you. Just an observation I watch quite a few channels similar to yours and most bag HF but notice that you all use their products. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Will there be an engine upgrade as well in the future for the Foxbody? Or r u keeping this engine in for a while? Can’t remember if u ever said what u were going to do it
Never purchase falcon tires for a mustang they are really soft and they have zero grip I got an alignment on my LX and this idiot talk to me into buying some falcon tires and I drove 2 miles and went back to the tire place and said take these off my car and give me what I originally wanted.
Stache or no Stache!?
Stache, but I am a full beard man myself.
Bigote for the Spaniards
Stache
Stachegang
You a really young guy . Let your face show . You'll have plenty of time to grow face hair when ya' get old and ugly like me ! No stache .
One of the best hot rod/car channels of all time🤘🔥
Thank you!
When using the impact, always use the hardened impact swivel socket or impact joint adapter.
Wow, those Rads aren’t cheap!
Don't abuse your tools and they won't be junk! Keep up the good work!!!

Craig hope you are changing the thermostat to, you should ALWAYS replace it when changing, radiator or waterpump, cheap insurance.

Seen the u joint ones explode into pieces several times. Don't care if its harbor fright or snap off. They aren't made for any RPM/ side torque
I love when Chevy guys admit that fords can be good most of Chevy people are hard asses much respect to you

I love watching your fox body videos man I learn a lot, keep it ip
you dont know how bad I was hoping we would get 2 days in a row of uploads
You need to install a stock air box; you're pulling in all the heat from under the hood.
Just a heads up Moog isn't good anymore like they used to be
Shes come a long way, seems like it needs a good tune for the gt40 goodies and cam. Great video as always
Great vid - you're always working in the dark!!
Hey man in like 5 degree weather your car will shoot some crazy flames

I'm pretty sure the tool wasn't meant to be used on an impact.. you can get impact swivel sockets that hold up much better to impact guns..
its not impact tools are anodized and hardened its literally a ratchet swivel
People dont realize how important using coolant is and having a good radiator cap is. The coolant has to be under pressure to keep from boiling over.
Not junco if you use the right tool for the job ! Impact sockets and impact swivel 😳
wow there is upgrades done now NICE did you install the coilovers ??
Radiator should do the cooling for you. Just an observation I watch quite a few channels similar to yours and most bag HF but notice that you all use their products. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
The biggest problem is you have a REALLY small fan before. I think I had commented before. The fan you have now is going to fix it
I like the mustache! If it is about the girlfriend I understand. Oh and the car was nice too. Thank you.
Great upgrades man love your channel
Upgrades people!
Do you have a video on the engine being rebuilt or installed back into the car?
it starts about the same as my 64 el camino in the am cold starts are so bad
Brother? A stash and a mullet? Are you ok?
Just kiddin😂😂
Awesome video. Thank you.
Amazing how hard fox parts are to find now
Gotta just go on LMR, they have 99% of what you need.
Great vid bud! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why not use front tubular control arms?
Ayeeeee I forgot about my sticker I sent you
Yee!
aint the Full pump the bad startup issu ?
my 1990 gt turns on then off right away like yours do you know why ?
No catch can. Radiator you replaced was not gonna cool that 5.0.
What’s your tire set up?
Craig when r u going to do your wiper panel can u get back to me please
In the next month I’ll tackle it. It’s just my daily so it’s a lot to take on if it’s driving it every day
Any one know what type of lights he installed are? Went to the link but he out the wrong one…
Awesome! i just put a cold case rad in my c10
