- This is a fun shape for intermediate+ dancers that has many options for variations. This lesson is directly from syncopatedcity.com, and is a great example of our online education platform. We hope you enjoy and thank you for support.
You seem to be the first teachers that I see who are incredibly clear in explaining things, I appreciate especially the slow down effect that breaks the mvement into separate parts. Thank you so much for that. Waving my hellos from Prague, Hanka
How could someone not LOVE this video? You are so charming, cute, elegant on the one hand and so helpful with your detailed explanations. A MUST-SEE video!
Jacky Tang-Taye, thanks for the lovely compliment and we’re glad you like the video!
Great lesson, but really it wouldn’t be out of place on a Mister Rogers episode.
HaHAHA, we just need to wear sweater vests next time. @@davidshort8974
Evita is very theatrical in her presentation, can't help but smile
I love how you breakdown all these steps. It’s crystal clear! Thank you!
This video is great! Beautiful movements, with counting, and detailed explanation on how to communicate with your partners with hands
Cool moves! You two look lovely and you explain everything with lot of details, thanks!
What a great video! I find especially useful the "How do the leader know this or that...?" hints, the closeups on the hands and the repetition on different angles, as well. I may add that you are so lovely! I would jump into the screen and hugh you guys. Thanks a lot.

Also, Evita, where did you get your shoes?😍
Yea 💙
Do you dance Balboa?
I'd say we're definitely aware of it but certainly not experts. Why do you ask?
evitaandmichael website I dance Balboa, so I guess that I'm interested :)
Understood. We definitely appreciate the dance, for sure, and I'd say we know and respect the form enough to know that it's not our wheelhouse. 😉
With all due respect that turn is not so easy, a follower would need a lot of practice !
Thank you for the comment, Bellz Toll, and we agree. Though some may look at this variation as simple, we think there are a lot of little details needed to make this move feel great. ;-)
with all do respect, this is triple step ECS , It's easy enough to teach in an advanced beginning level class.
