Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment guys! I'll definitely be checking out your other clips as soon as I can get to them! Always love your stuff!!
No way man! Thank you so much for this amazing song!! In 5 minutes you guys made a better live action version of aladdin than Disney could do I a whole movie 🤣 Seriously though, your voice is incredible and it's a pleasure to react to you!
I watched the Peter Barber reaction and analysis. He said the trio outside the building in the Czech Republic had an audience of about 100 people that knew something cool was happening. I do believe she captured him in that lamp. Marwan had the responsibility to get the Sahara Desert location, the dancer (surprise to the trio), and camera people to get Marwan's part. He killed his chores AND the music.
that seems kinda funny to watch depending on how they did it. Usually the vocals are recorded beforehand in a studio setting, then the video is filmed with them lip singing along to it.
I think my favourite moment was your reaction to Marwan's epic "Arabian" riff/flipp that dropped to his chest fry "night". It was such a genuine exclamation of your understandable astonishment at this young man's awesomeness.
That djinn-voiced bass drop! SIR!!! Marwan is a freaking genius arranger. I was heartbroken that he couldn't go, but to film THAT SONG in the Sahara Desert was simply too perfect. Between wind, heat, and scorpions, filming in the desert is dangerous (I used to live in the Mojave, I know all too well!!!) yet it's so beautifully done. The dancer was a mysterious but cool addition, really loved her as well. And can we just admire Tomi's eyeliner!
Within their released Volume (3) The Bass Gang also did Friend Like Me which is equally good. Lead done by Bobby Bass. Besides Aladdin in the Volume Be Prepared done by Tomi and Gaston where the titular character is done by Peter showing off operatic skills. These three don´t have video so far though, so go somewhat unnoticed. All can be find in Releases section on their channel.
The Bass Gang is amazing and their vocal ranges and talent are insane! And when you take into consideration Marwan is only 19 and already has an astonishing vocal range, you know it's only going to get better as it matures with age!!
It reminds me of that ungodly note he did in the cover of DingDong. I remember being absolutely astounded that anyone could make that kind of sound. It goes beyond singing. It just goes to show that the voice is truly an instrument.
Marwan has so much talent its not even funny, and hes only gonna get better and better as he gets older. This whole song was amazing from all of them and I can't wait for the other songs! 💜💜🦌
Oooh looking forward to seeing you react to this XD just came from watching Kaz and mortius back to back earlier :) there are some bits i can't wait to see how you react to them :)
Great reaction!!! We’ve all been watching Marwan since he was 17-it’s really only been a couple years but you can tell he’s really put in a ton of hard work, and he went from being awesome to begin with to being this absolutely fabulous. It’s been so fun to see, and I’m so impressed.
I was waiting for your reaction to that note at the end... Reactor Mortious almost said bad words! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Great job, you are my newest favorite reactor!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@valeriephelps8017 Nah . Tomi did a fine job voicing the Cave of Wonders in this video so I would just have him do it again. I would say Geoff for Jafar. And I would cast Ashley Espinoza of Voctave for Jasmine.
@@Bi06Hazard Sure, but as far as I know no one in a capella groups can pull off a B0 _subharmonic_ (not fry or inhale or growl) except Geoff and Marwan
Marwan Nails this song so well. I love the Bass Gang!!! I have to admit that I love it when they spotlight one of the members like this. They just back each other up so well. What an incredible song and video!
I loved your reaction to this one. Your giddiness at the Cave of Wonders part was fabulous. The Bass Gang has definitely just been getting better and better. Marwan killed this. I can't wait for the other videos. 😁
I watched the pre-release of the next video yesterday. It is also amazing and includes a guest! The lamp will play an important role in the series so keep an eye out.
The ending is apparently how they're going to be telling the story of how he gets to be in the other 3 videos, so you were sort of right...but it's not a 2-parter... it's a 4-parter! Also, it seems like they're doing ALL Disney songs on this one (at least that's what Peter Barber mentioned on his reaction)... including Friend Like Me! Hopefully that's one of the video ones, cuz it'd be hilarious to see your reaction to that! Edit: I just listened to the album... it's 4 songs total, so Friend Like me is DEFINITELY gonna be a video! You. Are. Not. Prepared. To. Handle. This!
I think you were trying to open your mouth as wide as Marwan's throughout this song, LOL. His giant alien mouth is unreal and I think one day we might all be sucked into it like a black hole effect. 🤣 I accept our fate!
@@marijohnston4299 In his reaction, Peter recreated the line and said he'd been working on the technique to make his voice sound like that, and he did sound like the recording in the video. But he never mentioned who actually did it for sure. A lot of people are saying Tomi, and maybe that's because they have behind the scenes knowledge, I'm not sure. I've been confused as well. 😂 Maybe it will be definitive in the documentary they put out later.
as far as the whistling u hear...Avi Kaplan can do that whistle while doing another completely different note...its called overtone singing...there is a vid of him doing it while he was still with PTX u should check it out. Not sure if it is used here but would be an interesting fact to check :) AS ALWAYS love love love your reactions.. keep doing them PLZZZZZZZ
Don't believe this one was acapella...I could be wrong...love the song and your reaction I also heard that it was either Tomi or Peter that did the cave voiceover
I haven't watched it yet, but I know that Peter has done a "reaction" to this, and I'll bet that it contains a lot of background info (such as cave voice).
Thanks for the reaction - We LOVED it! (and thanks for the support, Herd!)
The Bass Gang are just incredible...LOVE LOVE LOVE

Marwan was captured in the lamp and that storyline will be used in all the videos to have Marwan be a part of them.

And Kaz was watching Mortius too. This one hit the reactor circuit hard. I think Mortius discombobulated his gonnectizoinc,
I just came from JS_Music&Media. He has an in on this - but he had not watched this before doing the reaction/analysis.
Marwan actually did the full run. The second part was him as well.

Awesome reaction, your facial expressions are priceless!
So glad you liked it! The guys are insanely talented and they only get better with each new video.
It is sad that Marwan couldn't get to go and be with the other guys but as a backdrop to that song you can't get better than the Sahara desert.
The video wouldn't be the same without it, that's for sure!
I've been waiting for this since the early look went up on their Patreon. You're gonna love it!

Cave of wonders was Tomi, in case no one said it in the chat.
Cave of Wonders was Tomi P.
the cave of wonders was done by Tomi :-D also: perfect reaction to this song ^_^
Those ARE real drums and tambourines. This is not fully a capella. Peter explained on his channel. :)
The ending sets up the other three videos. :) And we have to waaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiit. :( :)
Cave of Wonders was Tomi P
They are using instruments in this one.
Minimally. It doesn’t detract at all.
Samples, to be more precise. They have done that before, but always in small doses.
Tomi is the one who voiced the Sand Tiger Guardian
