If you position yourself between their front legs, they just stand there trying to nudge you but can't "hit." You can passive tame them without ever moving that way.
Diplo deserves a TLC at this point ;-;
yeah it should be able to use the tail as a whip
AND FINALLY MAKE IT DO DMG
Yes thank you I agree
Make it faster or platform saddle
I wish it did dmg tho but I guess it’s a pve dino
i use it to tame rexes. I go to the rex, unmount but stay on top of the diplo, shooting tranq darts from there, while my diplo knockbacks the rex. It has high health and it can survive easy. when the rexes torpor gets high and makes him run, i ride again my diplo and follow, because it is much faster than the rex.
In Australia we also pronounce it your stubborn way
Australia rules
No we dont
@@idjles actually you would be surprised how many would say it that way
@@echidna7970 are you under 50?
Australia is obv fake
OOOOOH, so it isn't aggressive? I thought it was on to kill me everytime I got close... if I would have known they just wanted to play, I would have tamed one 😢
Playing by throwing me and my *T-REX* 5 yards.
I never kill herbivores I only kill carnivores
Consider it play when they knock you off the high ground
@@subscribedtowithnotasingle4048 think thats bad, one threw me into a lake of pirahnas
K Ramachandran Krishnan why that’s just stupid their free experience and what if you hit a trike by accident and he’s chasing you are u gonna just run?
I prefer the knock out method. I drowned one time with a diplo wanting to cuddle me.
Passive taming against a giant rock with aggro on is actually pretty easy if you get under it's belly so it won't be able to nudge you even though it will try. It was actually one of my first tames on Aberration
This is really helpful! Im surprised you don't have much suscribers, so underrated.
This looks like it would be good for large groups of travel and have some Carnivorous dinos protect you
Echidna 1 diplo and 4 Rex
I like Diplos very much, they look funny 🤩 hoping for a TLC, I‘d really like to have Diplos that can do some damage.
They don't damage
Dont
@@joycelynnkalvig828 they saying they would like it to have damage.
I would make them faster
@@ronggu5070 i would want a platform saddle
A few weeks ago I was walking through the woods and found one. I had never seen it before so I was careful not to make it aggresive but it walked towards me. I got scared it could kill me so I tried to run away but then it came and pushed me off a cliff. I was down on like one point of health and ran back home. I googled it and when I found out it just wanted to be my friend, I felt so sorry for it! I spent days searching for it and when I finally found her I tamed her and she came with me. Since then, Doris is my best friend (after my dodo Johnson) and I tamed two sarcos just to have them take care of her. I love her so much!
Lol
@Carlos Castillo ^^
So *wholesome* haha Taming my first one right now, lvl 135 male with some pretty colors :)
*sniff*, this is such a beautiful story D;
I tamed a diplo with mejoberry i didnt know what he does so i watched this video cause all he knows is to push but doesnt do damage
It’s pink. It’s so beautiful
I honestly didn't think too much about sneaking behind it to tame it, I just find a spot between it's front legs just out of reach of it's 'push' AoE, and stand there and tame it that way while it's trying to push me, as it waists it's stamina on trying to push me, growing more and more hungrier over time.
“Imma Endor this sucker” 😂😂😂
*Storm trooper Vietnam flash back*
I saw a diplo I thought it was attacking me so I ran away but now I know there adorable lil smol bronto
oh no damage only thing i wanted to know but ill watch this more to learn i saw one and thought it was a glitched bronto but it wasnt and he looks mad so i paused vid to watch this
They are absolutely amazing for taming. Most dinos won't aggro while your on one. Early game this allows you to safely traverse the swamp area. Not sure if others do this but mine is able to harvest planet x,you, and rare flowers. They instant kill any aggressive small insects and leeches if you run them over. For small dinos you can locate them, dismount while staying on their back and tranq them. When dismounted small dinos will aggro on you protecting the unconscious dino your taming but can't attack because they can't reach. Makes taming baryonyx a cake walk in the swamp. You can quickly gather narcoberries if you run out with them as well. For large dinos that do aggro them they do no damage so taming effectiveness doesn't go down. Push health into one and have it aggro a large dino, the push back severely limits the damage it can inflict and the large health pool buys you plenty of time to tranq the large dino. You can also push other dinos away from something your taming.
I also pronounce it the same way you do, lol.
There is also a nother easy way to passive tame if you get to a certain spot under it were it won't be able to hit you
I wish this thing had a tlc
C really needs to be a Chicken sandwich or COFFEEE!!!!!
All hail Olivia!
Arks Basic Creations
If you wanna shoot instead of driving just drive forward and get on one of the seats and then it will drive his self Actually I didn’t even know that that was possible I tried it and it worked 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You can also get a trap like a 3 tall wall and five rolls and then when it starts following you lead it into the trap I can’t even push you so you can feel the well is trying to push you make sure there’s no dangers around actually I actually built one and now I have (Dipl)
It should be able to stand up on its back legs (like some scientists think they could do) and scare off nearby dinos
I mostly use them to carry my cargo
I just tamed one of them. It was a nightmare. I went out to get some metal and I came back to my very tiny base, and it was on top of it trying to attack my Iguanadon. I somehow got into my house and tried to passive tame it. I only had stimberries at the time and it took a bunch just to get to 3%. I couldn't get out to get other berries because the diplodocus would hit me into my spike wall. I realized I could feed it and then run out of my gate. Once I had mejoberries I tamed it in less than 3 minutes. The Diplodocus is named Nelson.
So you can use them for eggs for kibble and harvesting
They just need stunning a tail whip. Then they'd be perfect.
When I started ark I tamed one of these think I was the bees knees but then I realised it did no damage
I am mortified. I always thought they had attitudes and wanted to eat my brains as tummy medicine. They just wanted a hug. I am so horrible.
Come on? Was it ever up for debate? We new you were taking Oreo. Trying to decide if I want the lvl 104 easter colored female down the beach from my cliff... trying to decide if I should tame it... or if I'm just mesmerized by the gold and purple easter colors.
When i played ark i went up a hill with my parasaur, the hill was covered with tall trees and i saw a red diplodocus i approached it and it turned to face me, now normally when a creature in ark turns to face me I always assume it's going to attack so me and my parasaur got the hell outta there we then ran into a theri but it ignored us then we ran into an orange raptor and it chased us for a little bit then the red diplodocus showed up again and the raptor started attacking it. I managed to get back to my home safely my only concern is that the orange raptor might have followed me.
my issue with this dinosaur isnt how to use it, its WHERE?! this absolute unit goes so fast that i dont know where to move them without getting stuck on terrain-or falling off a cliff
for taming these guys what i do is stand under their belly and they cant touch you or move you like lock them in place and just stand and feed them till tamed dont need to dodge and run or trank
I use diplos for for my prime factory
Property of Masterarrow how does your prime factory work?
Are they able to knock reaper Kong’s out of the ground ?
Um Wild Reaper Kings don't spawn
Tamed ones yes
He reminds me of a Halo 2 Marine
Does it need to wander to eat?
I asked for a tank,i got a truck.
Where do I find em I tamed a bronto but I really want a diplo for fun
If you’re still looking: look for a two tone bronto, they spawn all over, I mostly find them in the south.
These guys appear at the wrong time, like once I was running back to base while being chased bu raptors then this diplo pushed me into the raptors then I got pounced and died
could the Diplo knock the megapithicus off the mountain?
now I feel like a idiot I was being chased for ages by one of these worried it would kill me and my new trike R.I.P my old one, I may or may not of picked its egg up , granted I did put it back 🤣
C for Custom
I got a low level with around 1750 hp and i was level 22
All fun and games till you sic your lvl 225 dilos on it to get it out of the way and it pushes them into a 150 therozino... sad day for mike and Ike...
F
So ur telling me I can’t use mejo berries
sometimes the crap people say makes me jump off a cliff more than a diplo
I think it's waste for killing compy with riffle
The only thing you need to know about this thing... Is that it's Giga food or free Prime meat. That's it. I had some and they got killed while I was AFK by a lvl 5 Carno.
That's why you don't go afk in ark
Well, put a tamed one against a cliff and set it to Turret Mode; Aggressive, and hide under it, and it will knock away anything that tries to hurt you, and while that may sound almost useless, it can really help you tame very dangerous critters, not to mention since it's attack does no damage, it has no chance of killing the animal while you're trying to knock-out or kill it yourself. So it's actually a wonderful beast to take on taming ventures! Also it can be a great clean-up crew when pests spawn in you base's area. Quite versatile, if you ask me.☺
man, you need a gacha over here... that rifle is lame :P
Female megaloceros do nod go too
I now tame one it easy man
i always wonder, whats the ultimate point of playing and building and breeding in pve
Maybe cause its fun???
i dont play pvp only pve. it’s so fun.
Bosses maybe
to what end when there is no pvp to use engrams and element
HAMAN get fun dinos and build a cool base, maybe even fight some bosses but i don’t think i’ll do that anytime soon. explore the world is what i enjoy most
c crafting
i hate commercials longer than the movie
Ark basic crafts
Me you hit me you boi shoot with arrow 20 times then runs back 10 min later ... I knocked it wow oops let’s tame it wow it is fas
While we’re on the subject of mispronouncing dino names, I’m just gonna tell you (and every other youtuber) that troodon is pronounced TRO-uh-don. And also tap-e-HA-ra. No J sound. 😉
Knutt dude chill just let people call it wat they want
I call them tr-oo-duh-n and tap-e-jah-ra
Sounds better and I cant stand hearing tro-uh-don and tap-e-ha-ra and I've grown up pronouncing it like that and I will stay like this
Tapejara is actually how ur supposed to pronounce it
