They have to be flexible or else they don’t make the team. The old team were all flexible too! Especially Brooke and Mackenzie
for the old team they only casted the moms and just sent in clips of the kids so they knew they can dance, this time they actually had a casting for the dancers, so of course they are pretty much all more advanced than the OGs were at their age.
I mean they practice and practice for hours

This dance was awesome. All the girls were good, but in specific, I couldn’t take my eyes off of Sarah , Elli and Gia. And props to Sarah for taking Abby’s horrible and harsh treatment, in a mature way. In the dressing room when she was put on the spot asking Sarah to dance by herself with Abby thinking she would forget it, instead she killed it and earned her spot in this dance. Then after that, she came out on the stage and was the star of the show. Good job Sarah!!!

Chill. Abby was easy on her compared to the other kids. She was always so calm and was just mad at the mom. Also, I definitely wouldn’t say she was the star of the show but you know you do you
I have a feeling that thing was fake. Because not only does she have a perfectly fitting costume with her, but it's blocked almost perfectly within minutes and Sarah is one of the leads.
@@dazzlingforests1373no, she definitely took her frustration out on Sarah BECAUSE of her mom. Abby does that all the time and never stopped doing it, especially since Sarah wasn’t really a favorite in Abby’s eyes. She was calmer than she would’ve been if this was like season 1-5 but…Abby still tried to give Sarah the hardest time simply because of the studio she came from and because of her mom. Abby and the moms always caused that girl to have some type of panic attack or a serious moment because of how disgusting they were towards her.

Hannah is an underrated performer. Honestly once her technique improves she will be one to watch. She's a good performer. Always pulls my attention in the groups.

What’s weird is that her actual technique on difficult elements is great! She has issues with transitioning out of elements, and moving between things
@@FantasyPNTM That's true. I think it's just that she is surrounded by so many advanced people. Transitions is something I noticed with her though.

This is my favourite dance of the season for some reason. The song, the choreography, the costume, all really stand out to me.

Same, I felt it really worked, though they really didn't feel sassy enough. I felt they played it to safe during the poses, not enough sass during those parts that need all the sass.

Honestly, every single girl killed this dance and you could tell they were enjoying themselves. All of their turns, leaps and tricks were on point.

One of my favorite pieces Abby and Giana did in the new season. Their choreography was incredible and Sarah, Gia and Elli really shined!

I learnt this dance at the virtual convention and I’m obsessed. I always add that little bit of choreo at 0:53 in my routines.
I think this was one of THE BEST routines with this team. I think that the competition was just a little more advanced but all in all I thought this was AMAZING.

The ALDC slayed this dance! 💃 I saw this dance live in the uk recently and filmed it! It was amazing! I just wish Elliana had been in it! Watching this brought back memories from the ALDC tour! Good vibes!

If I’m being honest I feel like the older seasons were more entertaining but the season 8 girls (and boy) 😂 have better routines and choreo. I also think they have a higher dance ability than the OG’s considering that the OG’s couldn’t do a lot of the things these girls can when they were their age.
P.s this is my favorite routineee
In the older seasons we got to know and love the characters more. Plus they were younger when they started and therefore had the cute factor. However they weren't as good being younger, having to fit dance around attending school these kids will have been homeschooled for years, and all coming from the same studio in Pittsburgh. There are less kids to pick from- only Abby's students- so not all of them will be amazing like the winners of a national audition will be- and Abby can't attract the kind of teaching faculty in Pittsburgh that you would get in New York or on the East Coast- where teachers and choreographers are inclined to go for opportunities.
