it's going to run everything at 1080p with zero issues.
With the games I've tested on the Odin 2 I never had to turn it down in resolution upscaling. However not all games run and there's a compatibility list too.

How's the psVita and ps3 emulators looking? Anywhere near close for the odin 2 you think??
Not at all close for Vita, PS3 there isn't one as far as I know.
Do you just remember the playstation buttons when playing on xbox or Nintendo style buttons or is it now pure muscle memory?
The PlayStation was my first Disc console besides the Panasonic 3D0. I'm also an Xbox nerd, so the buttons sort of line up with my brain. When I play Switch/3DS etc my brain breaks sometimes and I press the wrong buttons.
Does the mini have a better screen compared to the regular Odin 2? I actually sold my Odin 2 Max because my eyes could not handle the motion blur.
The mini has an Mini LED, so better well I like it but I never experienced motion blur on my Odin 2 personally. What I would wait for is a 7 inch OLED AyaNeo has one coming out too but I'm hoping their OS is good.

is this the best possible device for someone looking to exclusively emulate ps2?? since i was a kid its always been my dream to play proper full ps2 games , including obscure unknown titles, in a handheld form, now that its becoming a reality im trying to make the best possible investment on something that wont dissapoint. im between the anbernic 556 and the odin 2
Get the Odin 2, the 556 has way to many issues and isn't nearly as powerful enough to satisfy. Even the Base model $299 variant of the Odin 2 is way more than enough and if you want a solid device definitely get it, if you are looking for price VS performance I assure you that the 556 will disappoint for the shy of $120 less.
I decided to go with the Odin 2 Max, I wanted the larger screen and don’t have small hands so ergonomically I think it will work out better. The mini seems like a great option for girls who want to store it in their purses.

Do you prefer to play Odin 2 or Odin 2 Mini??
I have big hands, the Odin 2 Mini gets a little cramping at times but the PS Vita is the same for me. It needs a case or something, if you're sourcing out an Odin 2 just get the Base if you like black or Pro if you want a specific color. The max is pointless but great to have if you multi task and maybe plan to throw on some Windows Emulation but I use my Pro daily and love everything about it.
@DNAMobileGaming I have both already. I'm still unsure which I wanna keep haha. Been playing Mini more so far
Can you do Vita gameplay?
I won't be bothering with Vita because the emulator is way to far from ready imo
