Just to further add to the Armin Tamzarian connection, the real Seymour Skinner was Armin's commanding officer, so if Dunk's mentor was really Ser. Arlan's squire that matches up nicely. Plus Arlan/Armin is pretty damn close, lol
the anime joke (asoiaf a manga dio??) was like got 8x3 The Long Night- im sure it was very cool in the right conditions, but i have no idea whats going on

My theory is that Arlan of Pennytree was an actual tree. It's a deep reference to the broken man speech where Septon Meribald says "It was called the war of the ninepenny kings but I never saw a penny". You're meant to think "not real" every time you see the word "penny". All that leaves is tree.
They are insane. In a perfect world we'd get a production IG book accurate seinen anime of the books and give all the sandbagged characters (lady stoneheart, coldhands etc) their due depictions
Its really interesting to think that if Arlan was actually Arlan's last squire, then he went through exactly the same dilemma as Dunk. Arlan is dead, he didnt knight his squire, now his squire has to find a way to make his way in the world. Dunk chose to lie about being knighted, but this guy chose identity theft. Although overall I prefer "faux-Arlan was just some guy (specifically a broken man) and his life story was pieced together from stories he heard on the road about the real Arlan"
If I had a nickel for every time people in an INC video can’t remember Glendon Ball’s name but can remember he’s the knight of the pussywillows, I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice

You really said Armin Tanzarian out loud without remarking how similar it sounds to Aemon Targaryen
Its already out!
So many outtakes 😂
An anime Dunk and egg series is probably the only way we would get an accurate Bloodraven scar and accurate Targaryen hair with purple eyes

Screw those fun haters, I like the squirrely format of your theory videos. 🎉
Baelor Breakspear gives a lil info about Ser Arlan when he was younger.

Mayhaps it's better this way if the takes had lived they'd have grown to become a video
Among the best comments we've ever received.
It gets even better At the beginning of video you said the patrons would be eating well today What did you put in those pies the world wants to know
An RIG appearance less go
That was a good Fun. Reference
I think his biggest secret is that he’s a butler to Batman!… …. … well I thought that was funny.
35:11, I think it was late 90s. I’m pretty sure that Hedge Knight is technically the 2nd asoiaf book. Well, third if you count the Dany novel.
When are they going to get to the theory factory!
I saw a theory where dunk could be a Strong.

Ooooh and a good theory
Mic so quiet i thought it was a bit
When I want to strain something I just drink all the water instead of using what is not to be named
