I love this guy I really still love him he was such a talented wonderful man of god. I did not know him personally but His songs bless me more and more whenever I listen to them. one thing I am excited about he is in the loving arms of the almighty God. Will see him face to face in God’s glory

This morning as I was meditating on the "Justice" of GOD and HIS having sent HIS only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for Sinners the dichotomy between GOD and the marred image Religion portrays of HIM. Isaiah 52:14 resonates in my heart. Thank you Carman, for sharing your Journey experiences with the world through your music. I kiss your feet, "How beautiful anddelightful on the mountains

Watching these recordings instantly transports me back to the summer of '99. There I was in one of the many sterile arenas Carmen was hitting on his "Make Christianity Great Again" tour. It felt like some kind of modern revival tent. And the traveling preacher mam, his hair greased back and his leathery but beautiful skin as orange as God's favorite creation the Sun itself, he reminded me of a man from a different time. I distinctly remember a member of his band, a man of color if I recall, playing a rousing harmonica solo without even having one (he used a cutting edge keyboard synthesizer) which I was happy to see was a moment captured here as well. Was this moment done at every show I wonder? Sort of ruins the magic. Oh well, the "took my sins away" backup choir are as on point and soulful as they were back then, all pasty and a little too happy as always. God there's really nothing like a good live Carman gig. I trade Carman gig bootleg mp3s on soulseek (a file sharing app not a Christian dating service sadly) if anyone is interested. God bless.
