I visited Pakistan in 1971.Also went to lahore and saw makbara of jahangir, of noor jehan and shalimar gardens.
The visit to the old city left a very bad impression. I considered it a slum worth raising it down to the ground. How stupid. After seeing your vlog I feel like coming back to see old lahore and enjoy the life you have put into the bricks and walls. Truly remarkable effort.

Bhaiijan hamare ancestors Pakistan se hai. Aap ke videos ke zariye hum Lahore dekh lete hai. Sirf aapse ek guzarish hai, aap videos agar Hindi mein bhi banaye toh mazza aajaye. Kyunki hame Urdu words samaj nahi aate. Ab hume toh mauka milega nahi kabhi aapne ancestors ki jagah dekhne ka, aap ke zariye aane vaale generation ko Lahore dikha te hai.

حویلی دھیان سنگھ گورنمنٹ کالج لاہور کی بھی پہلی قیام گاہ تھی۔
غالبا گورنمنٹ کالج کا پہلا batch جب فارغ التحصیل ہوا ان طلباء میں سر گنگا رام بھی شامل تھے۔ اور ان طلبا کی آخری گروپ فوٹو بھی اس حویلی کے دالان میں لی گئی تھی جو جی سی کے آرکائیوز سیکشن میں دیکھی جاسکتی ہے۔
جب موجودہ انارکلی کی عمارت بن گئی تو حویلی سے پہلے پرنسپل ڈاکٹر لائٹنر کی زیر سرپرستی کلاسز کو موجوہ جگہ منتقل کردیا گیا۔ ڈاکٹر لائٹنر بھی لاہور سے محبت کرنے والے تھے، محمد حسین آزاد کے گہرے دوست تھے، اور ادب پرور شحصیت کے مالک تھے۔ اب ڈاکٹر نذیر احمد بھی یاد آرہے ہیں،
لاہور اور گورنمنٹ کالج بھی دو جان یک قالب کے مصداق ہیں، اس حوالے سے بھی بانسری کی مدھر لہروں پر اپنی آوارہ گرد متجسس طبیعت کو بات کرنے پر مائل کریں اور ہمیشہ آباد و شاداب رہیے۔

My criticism of your history- Indeed I appreciate the great job you are doing, however, sadly you in my opinion are not studying genuine history in depth. The British had many great qualities but were also great manipulators. The rift between the Jat-Sikhs and Kshatriyas (Rajputs) following the death of the great and brilliant Maharaja Ranjit Singh Sandhu was greatly exploited by them and they spread appropriate rumours. Raja Dhian Singh Jamwal a Kshatriya (Rajput) of the Suryavanshi clan was an extremely brave and loyal individual. After the death of the great Maharaja Ranjit Singh on 27 June 1839 the Sikh kingdom moved slowly towards chaos. On 15th September 1843 the Sandhanwalias liquidated Maharaja Sher Singh , his son Pratap Singh and Dhian Singh. Soon the Sandhanwalia assassins Ajit Singh, Lehna Singh and close to 600 of their troops were liquidated by the Kshatriyas (Rajputs). Only Following this the widow of Dhian Singh committed Sati and promised her son before commuting sati that she would tell her husband Dhian Singh in heaven that their son had avenged his death! It must be noted after Maharaja Ranjit Singh only Naunihal Singh had the same capabilities as the Maharaja. however, unfortunately he died in an accident and again the British circulated appropriate rumours to create a rift between these two clans.
