Just to refresh your mind my family used to stay in Lohore, had to move during partition. My maternal side used to live in Khui veda, Said Meetha bazaar, Lohari mandi. My mama recalls that there were a few steps going up where there was a landing or veda with a water well or kuan. From there a street with Malhotra families living in the street. Just behind the khan. My great grandmother's name was Bal Kaur. My grandfather's name was lala Ganesh Das. Hope to hear from you soon.😊thank you

My village was 8 miles from Railway station. His home was less than 100 yards from park, but he could go home, because he forgets way. But said , If you take me to Railway station of Gazi khan. I will reach my village on foot. This is Kishan Lal, retired station master of NewDelhi railway station.
