  • Branch Together brings Christians together to read the Bible every day. We know as Christians that we are called to "branch out" and reach the world around us, but first we must come "together" and develop habits that help us grow to be more like the people Jesus is calling us to be. So before we Branch Out, we Branch Together. Some people might call this Daily Devotions, or Quiet Time...whatever you call it, our videos kickstart your most important daily habit.
In addition to starting your day with Scripture, we create videos to help you study, memorize and worship.
BT is run by a couple churches working together in Red Bank, NJ. (Branch Church - branchchurch.org and First Baptist Church - fbcredbank.com)
Scripture quotations have been taken from the New Revised Standard Version, or the Christian Standard Bible.

God told me to go outside in His nature to learn about His nature. Everytime He shows me something different when I’m paying attention. I love it. ❤️

I never thought to much about it, but the times where I felt the closest to God are out in nature. Whether on a hike or sitting on the side of a hill looking out over the landscape just sitting there silently taking it all in. That's when I feel the closest to him. I've always said that in a lot of ways nature is my spiritual time with God, and when I am able to get out in a trail consistently, I am far less tempted by the ways of the world.

When i hiked id sit on a high place and commune withGod, lifting up my praise on a mountain. I prayed during a hard situation this week and He answered my prayer and i prayed and thanked Him for a great big happy ending, in my car, in a parking lot. PTL. I do sometimes forget to pray before and worry and fret then im like, what am i doing, this is God work. Steadfastly giving up my burdens to Him.

Sometimes I wish there was more of an emphasis on the bad things that happened to the Apostles. I don’t want to dwell on it but I think people have this picture that life is easy for Christians. It’s all peace and love and no one has anything bad happen to them. Especially newer believers when they hit that first real bump in the road. A relationship with Jesus Christ is more amazing than anything on this earth but it doesn’t mean that while we are here it will not be hard. The Apostles died gruesomely and they were chosen to do some of the greatest things ever. God’s plan is greater than anything but it isn’t always easy.
