I believe mine was locked to Tmobile so maybe you have a different carrier that makes it harder to unlock.

@@rayenseah not yet, I just use it in a temporary way, reset the phone completely and then just make sure while connecting any wifi, you gotta turn on "treat as metered" befor eentering pass. It's working for me until I accidently connected a wifi without making it metered, then I've to reset to use sim again

@@williampaulbeaugruendler7901 : The video didn't specify to remove the SIM card first. You can do a factor reset with the SIM card in. That was what made the difference for me.

It didn't work at first, but I then read the comments and realized I had to actually wipe my device first. Then it worked!
That worked like a charm on my Pixel 6 from T-Mobile. I am able to use Visible Wireless on that device!

Hello! In my case with pixel 6, I did the process after they december update, and it didn't work! So please... Don't reset Your phone!
Step 1 - Take out sim card, then do a factory reset.
That is what "WIPED" means.
