New subscriber here your videos are so helpful. Just booked Icon of The Seas and never cruised w Royal before only DCL. I'm wondering if you buy the 3 dining package one are the restaurants only open for dinner or do they offer their menus for lunch as well? I'd hate to miss our on the MDR food for 3 days at dinner but we are doing late dining so we would love to maybe do 1 or 2 dinners and maybe a lunch. Does it work that way? Or are they strictly for dinner hours. Thx so much for your help!

Thank you for your support. You can use the package for lunches too, but just be aware that the lunch menus are usually lower priced than the dinner menus so you might not be able to get such good value. If you plan and check the pricing in advance you'll know if it's worth it or not.

Hi, what about the surcharge? After purchasing the UDP, do we need to pay the surcharge when onboad?

Hi Jillian, the surcharge is only for children who are not on the dining package. And even then the surcharge is capped, so if it's greater than $10.99 you get a refund of the difference.
