Such a beautiful site lot of excitement not much danger to population and it’s people in the areas affected . Here we’ve experienced our share of active volcanoes throughout the generations we have learned so much and one thing for sure is very unpredictable.Thank you for sharing your part of the world. The fissure is actually 200 miles long and divides iceland in half.

@@kristend344 The current eruption is two miles long, but the fissure itself is 200 miles. It is the boundary between the Eurasian and the North American Tectonic plates. It extends the entire length of the island. At some points it is underwater, other places on ground level and others underground.
@@kristend344 In a way he's both wrong and right. Iceland sits on the Mid Atlantic ridge which does divide Iceland in half. However, this particular fissure is as you said 2 miles long.

Same way they've been dealing with these for centuries. It's something they have gotten used to. Many places with volcanoes that have people living near them, those people have been treating it as just another day in volcano land hahaha

Volcanic gases pumping into Atmosphere
A lot of it is syram because it hit groundwater. The gases released are trivial.
A tiny amount compared to the CO2 from Al Gore's many airplane flights.
Earth can handle it.
Fact is, global warming is a damnable lie. It's repeated often & drilled into us at all sides in an effort to control us; to tax our CO² output, & dictate all sorts of 'solutions' THEY want us to adopt. It's all bs!
