I was disappointed to see the messages on social media and through the Kickstarter, but it was good to see they were open and made sure people were refunded quickly.
I must admit, I had problems recently paying another homebrew developer/website based in Russia recently.
I hope PSCD Games can get through this problem and continue to make Mega Drive titles.
Yes, we solve problems. Not all of them have, of course, been resolved yet, but we intend to fix everything. Let's hope that the next kickstrater will give us such a financial opportunity.

As an indie dev that still has 3-4 years left before launch I can tell you we make 0 money right now and it is all on our free time. I hope everything works out.
It's tough to make games. It's often passion that drives us forward.
@@RetroGamerBoy I can atest to that. I have wanted to make games most of my life but only in the last 4 years I felt that my skill level was high enough to follow through.
Of course, everything will work out, the main thing is to go towards your goal, no matter how much you sometimes want to give up everything.

Was frustrated when the Kickstarter stated it was being refunded, was looking forward to it. Didn't realize you could order direct, thanks for explaining Mike.
That's why we wrote Mike. Still, he has a good audience and this could attract and explain to you all the reasons, since the creator of the kickstarter deleted us without allowing you to explain the reason for the closure.

Just purchased a physical copy since that’s what I pledged on Kickstarter. Don’t want these guys getting stuck with a bunch of stock they paid for but can’t sell because of the Kickstarter snafu. Keep up the good work!

It's not their game, they are just doing the work to bring it to the Mega Drive.

It’s probably something to do with where PSCD games are based.
That's my understanding. The two main guys are in Ukraine and Russia.
@@RetroGamerBoy Meridian 4 are based in Canada. Maybe sanctions related. Wonder how that works for ordering online from their store, if you’re outside of Russia. Would we fall foul of the law?

But I wanted a copy and smelled something super fishy when landing on the Kickstarter page and reading a refunding update. Thanks for clarifying everything! Yup, I made a video a few weeks ago.
Despite all that happened, at least the game was finished, people received the copies ordered from the website and only the scummy publishers got in trouble.
And the game's pretty fun btw.
Good thing it survived the drama.
It's awesome, really nice pace to it. I know the dev team are really appreciative of all the support they got.

I'll always applaud any developer that continues to support the megadrive, must be a tough niche market to make decent money especially having to manufacture the cartridges.

The Genesis scene is being kept alive even if we get one new game a year .!

Would like to keep seeing games push graphics color story and gameplay elements ,
Each team has their strengths and weaknesses. Some teams are able to excel at the overall dev process.
My team and I think that it would be interesting to add games to the console, the genres of which are not enough on it.

We have a game on Master System. But the Master System would not have been able to accommodate such a game according to the sprite limit.
There is a market for games that looks like Neo Geo games on the Nintendo Switch so stop making that 8-bit trash that have abysmal sales.
