Punta Cana is probably the place most people think of when you mention the Dominican Republic. The most visited Caribbean island, the Dominican Republic, has so much natural beauty, and Punta Cana in the east of the country is famous for its all inclusive resorts and endless lush beaches. It’s also famous for its proximity to Saona island, rated one of the top beaches in the world, this is where you come to take a boat trip to the island! I decided to visit Punta Cana independently, renting an airbnb minutes away from the famous Bavaro beach, and spending a few days exploring this part of the DR, including Cap Cana and the famous Juanillo beach, taking a boat trip to Saona island where the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed and eating plenty of fresh seafood! At the end of my trip I decide whether I think visiting Punta Cana is worth it and is hyped up to all it’s said to be. Let’s find out what my conclusion is!

Mi querida Quisqueya de mi vida tan lejos que estoy de ella, tan hermosa como siempre. Punta Cana es el lugar mas popular de mi pais, pero no el mas hermoso. Lugares realmente belllos: Samana, Puerto Plata, Pedernales, Monte Cristi, Jarabacoa, Constanza, (estos dos ultimos quedan en el centro de nuestra isla) y muchos lugares que tienen playas, rios y montañas que enamoran. Si piensan visitar mi pais le recomiendo no hospedarse en un hotel todo incluido, alli no conocera toda la belleza que tiene mi hermosa media isla RD.

Malini Angelica, I saw that you stayed a little longer in the Dominican Republic but you didn't even cross the border to go visit. Haiti, you would have noticed that you could do the same thing on the beach that you experienced in the Dominican Republic and all that cheaper.👍🔥❤

Great video! You should visit Santiago they have the monunent there which at first honored the Dominican victory and independence from Haiti and now celebrates the heroes of the Dominican Restoration. They are building a monorail system there.
You should also visit Costanza. The Dominican Republic also has the lowest and highest points in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean islands are the ones suffering the most from the impact of sargassum due to global warming. The most developed countries, which are the biggest polluters, should collaborate to mitigate the environmental impact.

Feel really bad for you because you didn't see the real beauty of punta cana . In the past 5 years, the seaweed started taking over the punta cana area before it was gorgeous. Imagine the turquoise water without seaweed.
