Another in shop rebuild. That's sweeter than homemade candy. The truck makes it even more fun along with the hints of future engines rebuilds. Great video. Thank you.
@@dantheman9395 Doesn't matter, still doesn't exist. It wasn't a C10 in 1987. It was an R10. This is confirmed by the GM parts book listings. I should know, I was involved with helping to write it.
Yuck, all that "improvement" and "updating" is ruining a nice original truck. I would have left it alone and gotten it running as is. Nothing beats originality. Your description says "1973-1987 C Series". Not correct. Square bodies are from 1973-1991. They were C (2WD) and K (4WD) from 1973 to 1986. From 1987 to 1991, they were R (2WD) and V (4WD). In the spring of 1987, GM released the GMT400 trucks (later on called "OBS" by many folks) for the 1988 model year and they were again known as C and K Series vehicles. GM did that to avoid the confusion (not always successfully) at the parts counter and to differentiate the two as they were sold side by side in the same dealership for a few years.
Heck yes! Truly enjoy the content Hemmings is putting out. Looking forward to this - thank you ~ Chuck

That was a relaxing video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Did you have one or have one of these trucks?!
Wow, cool shop!
Love the videos that you guys have been creating! Really inspired me to get back to working on my own Jeep
That's awesome to hear! What kind of Jeep are you working on?
@@hemmingsmotornews Nothing as cool as you guys! Working on my 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9. I love the 5.9 and want to keep it on the road!
Mr Dan's SF hotrod work was truly excellent. Now though, it's back to the old ballz 'n chainz, I guess....
😅😅😅
Dammmmm! Wish I had dis truck!
You left out exhaust sound after it was installed.

We appreciate you watching!
Had a ‘87 C10 Hate that I don’t have it any more
No such thing in 1987. The last year for the square body C and K Series was 1986. Square bodies from 1987-1991 are R (2WD) and V (4WD) Series.
@@googleusergp the title said C10 custom deluxe so you can have it out with the DMV as far as I’m concerned
