  • In this video we will take a look at Unreal Engine 5 interior lighting and see how Lumen GI and Lumen reflection are working.
    We will check the basic settings and use a few tricks to achieve a better result.
    Volumetric lights and post processing are great helps to achieve a better looking scene.
    You may achieve similar look with different parameter values especially in the height fog settings.

      I actually didn't see lots of reaction for that so I decided to delay it a little bit, but don't worry it is in our plan for future videos.

    how good is lumen performance wise compared to baked lightning ? I mean is there a big difference ?

    • @InfinityMaskStudio
      @InfinityMaskStudio  2 года назад

      Lumen costs much more performance in real time.

      @@InfinityMaskStudio so if I am making a game would you advice still to bake light still and not use lumen ?

    • @InfinityMaskStudio
      @InfinityMaskStudio  2 года назад

      @@blacklord3212 it totally depends on what you want to make and the platform you want to make your game for. If you want to make a game for high end PCs then it's ok to use lumen at it's full capacity.

    Soooo. no spot lights? They're not working with Lumen? hmmmm. Not as useful as it seems. We're back to 1994 3d studio lighting rigs I guess.
