I complain about a lot of things but I would never complain about a free lawn mowing.

i mean, some I guess might like the more overgrown look?? sort of like a cottage or smth but some places atleast here in the States have a law that requires some form of lawn maintenance.
Tim, you do what you do for the good of the neighborhood and neighbors, if someone is complaining about you doing a yard for free then you should tell them to get off their lazy asses and do it themselves, you do great work and it shows how much you care

Im sorry i dont understand why people didnt like you helping someone out by cutting their lawn for free? You dont break or damage anything and the places look great. You never know, those people who live there may be pleasantly surprised finding their lawn mowed & looking good. It's a true blessing what you do for others. Bless your heart. We need more people like you in this world.
May not be that simple. There may be liability issues if Tim injures himself running over an obstacle or damages something he couldn’t see in the tall grass. If he’s on the property without permission, it could get messy. Absentee owners might not be properly insured. I have no idea what the laws of trespass are in Australia, but Tim likely does.

I don't why but this reminds of my husband who has a lawn mowing and Tree removal service and was paid by someone to mow a family members lawn. He went to the address and no one was home so he mowed the lawn. After he was done he realized he had the wrong address so he packed up his gear quickly and left. I am sure those people came home and still wonder to this day who mowed thier lawn....😁

Stuff what the "Karens" say. If you want to help someone by mowing for them, go for it. I highly doubt 99% of the owners are going to complain about making their property look better and saving them first from having to spend a fair amount to get it cleaned up not to mention time & effort if they do it themselves and second, from a council fine.

If I came home and found my lawn done, I would think someone had the wrong address or got tired of looking at it. I know it would be a little bit unusual to get that lucky. But everybody has their turn.

Great job! Overgrown lawns attract mice, rats, they attract snakes and other predators. Was glad to see you cut a strip along the walkway, at least if something slithers out walkers have a bit of a warning.

Tim, try using the catcher mower on the lower setting on the path and road as a vacuum... so much less to blow after a quick pickup with the mower... also picks up the rubbish, rocks etc that you don't want to be blowing onto the lawn... the power rake / broom

I'd love to see some of the very tall yards done with an old fashioned scythe. Just the quiet rhythmic swish. I've seen completions that the scythe beats mechanical. Just a thought for an offshoot

Lovely job tim, I personally would of just mowed since the city isn't doing anything. I had a neighbor that use to live south of me ( a gardener) sad that he never offered to take care of the neighbors south of him & just let it grow like a jungle. I don't film but I do clean it up for them & I do the house south of me & across from me just to help out & don't like seeing beautiful houses yards going to jungle looking. I don't have the greenest yard but @ least I take the effort of maintaining it & making the yards look good in the neighborhood. I really wish I was there I would of trimmed those trees and bushes & did that yard myself no matter what the city thought, but than again that's me. But you know for a fact those neighbors do appreciate what you did for them 👍💯💯💯💯💯💯

How can people complain about free yard work?? You donate your time plus using your own equipment?? You make their property look great so how can they complain?? You can do mine anytime but I am in Texas!! Right now it is 105 degrees!! Never thought I would enjoy watching someone do yard work but it is very calming for me!!
