Great video, pretty spot on. So in summary, aside from a couple exceptions, New Zealand would be a perfect place in terms of wildlife if it wasn't for Australia lol. It's a shame that many introduced species from Australia and Europe are not only dangerous to humans but also native wildlife. After many efforts to control populations of certain animals, we are seeing good progress. If we ever see a white tailed spider, it won't be for long! I also didn't know you could get bitten by weta. I'm just imagining walking into the doctors with a weta hanging off my hand lmaoo, almost want it to happen just to see the responses on people's faces haha
🤣🤣 it’s very rare to get bitten by a weta. This country does an amazing job at managing the introduced species but it’s an ongoing challenge. I am seeing white tailed spider far to often at my house in north Auckland 😬
Great whites are often seen in the Tauranga Harbour.
😬😬
Nice
Thanks

many people are going to say thanks a lot captain obvious but dog attacks are way more common than any of these wild creatures you mentioned.
