I can't see how Matias will not run that back and get his rematch. And if they rematch I'd be super shocked if he loses again to Paro. I still can't believe Paro beat Matias.
How in the world Matias just lose like that to a Paro. Not taking nothing away from Paro but common now. Matias can most definitely beat a Paro. The times where he landed some punches on Paro he was hurting him and shaking him up. He nipped Paro with a hook that buckled him. Matias handles guys like that. Matias just keeps rising in the fight but he stopped strangly and became just defensive more than offensive.
He just keeps making the ring smaller and smaller and smaller. He keeps increasing his punch output and little by little also increasing the frequency behind the power of his punches but without burning himself out. It's not like Paro was really hurting him so, I can't understand how he just lost. I'm expecting for that man to get his back. First time he lost, he got his back. I'm expecting for the same here.
I totally agree. Fucken odd AF he aint throw any punches plus was too happy after the loss. While I hope he bet then bank on himself to lose cuz career over with that performance
Absolutely! And nobody wants to see that. Im Puertorican and support Subriel’s career till his last day. But in the interview with Marco Antonio Barreras podcast, he mentioned how he doesn’t agree with certain aspects of his career at this moment and touched on the financial topic. He also mentioned he will be retiring within the next couple of years. Let’s take into consideration his age (32) and the purses for his fights are small. For this last fight, he only made 300K. After taxes and paying the promoter and his team, he probably keeps about 150K-180K. That’s definitely not enough to retire comfortably living in Puerto Rico, unless you have a solid investment plan. When we look at the odds for the fight with Paro, they were 7-1. With 150K betting against yourself, he could’ve made over a million dollars. I mean, the math is simple and his words are easy to understand. Honestly, I don’t judge him if he took that route. We’ve seen it happening in the past, and he won’t be the last to do it.
Thank u for supporting my people
I was there when Vergil fought in houston
Matias was not the same in that fight something happened.

There's so much more he could have done to Paro. I don't know what happened there.
He has to get that back.

Ortiz papá gran persona y gran humildad de verdad eso vale un millón la gran humildad una persona
Wilder type excuses coming out from matias fans
Ergashev hits way harder than Paro. My opinion is that Matias bet on himself to lose and walked away paid.
