In the world of home transformations, this home is EPIC! It is so beautiful, tastefull, calming and inviting! The before and after shots are stunning. It is incredible to see. No offense to the previous owners, but that home was garish and loud and ugly. You and Jaylon have created magic with your home renovations. You must be so happy and proud with the results! This video was so well put together! Even though I have seen every episode, it was helpful and satisfying to see the before and after of each section as you went through the house. The white/light grey just really enhances every room. The fireplace area is particularly striking. The raised ceilings and the open concept make it a different home. You have done so much that it seemed you were almost finished, but this video shows there really is plenty left to do to completely finish the renovation, but I bet you don't mind because every change makes the home even more beautiful. You are blessed to be able to do this! I am wondering if you have lived with sliding closet doors because many people prefer the folding doors. Having half a widths access and flipping one side open, then the other and back again is a pain and makes putting in any sizeable item a chore. Love the amount of storage space you have throughout the house. Love your beautiful back porch, too. So happy for you and your family! Enjoy and thank God!
I agree -- keep the bifold doors! They're so much easier to use, and are sturdier. I have them on the closets in my 1959 home, and love them.
At first I was like, “ there’s barely any cabinets in the kitchen!” Then I remembered the OMGoodness pantry you have😍
There actually is a ton of cabinet space, I only have half of the cabinets and drawers filled haha

It has come out so beautifully!!! I love the sinks In your master they are gorgeous. I know they don't match the style of the house but save them!!! Maybe turn them into bird baths for the yard or something. Idk. But I love them!!!

My family just moved into our new home In December. I had major surgery then so I couldn’t do to much at first...and then the COVID 19 hit New York🙃 so we had to halt all contract work. We’re making up for lost time now and I am loving the challenge of using limited resources and still creating a beautiful space.

The living room rug could use a thick felt pad underneath. This won’t hurt the hardwood floor. It will make the rug softer for the boys to sit or play on and it might even get rid of some of the wrinkles in the rug, as well as make the rug last longer. I would cut the pad to about 1” less than the rug size on all sides so the rug will slope down over the edges and be easier to vacuum. Double sided rug tape may help keep the rug from sliding around on the pad - but it probably won’t slide much anyway. If you have any scaps of padding leftover, depending on how big they are, you could use them elsewhere.

Great house tour! It has come such a long way. So many wonderful changes. The rug in the living room is perfect! Everything looks so nice in there. I thought that your couches were brand new! They look so nice, and completely different with the new rug and the different furniture arrangement. I would just add a couple of tables and a chair in the corner and a couple of lamps for ambience. And the ottoman you mentioned. I would spend the money on a larger table and chairs for the dining room. I love the curtain and the picture in there, they are a larger scale so they look great! Your color scheme is so nice. Warm and welcoming. Kitchen is perfect! I like the brown color of the entry door. I think the outside would look nice black. You did a lot of good painting outside. It looked like grueling work. It is not my style at all but I completely LOVE the sinks in your main bathroom. There is something about them. They are so different from my neutral or earthy colors I like, but I love them. I would keep them and make that bathroom a real light blue and white or just white and keep the sinks. Weird right? They are just pretty. But I anxiously await you painting those dark blue walls and dark counters. Boys room and laundry room and half bath and the office are all perfect!!! And the Master bedroom is great, almost complete. A bit bright without curtains. Those closets and all that room is a dream come true!! You have put your wonderful touch on everything and it shows.
It’s looking so beautiful. I actually love the warm wood front doors. Once you have the paint and trim outside they will pop.
