For this playthrough I've removed a couple of the early levels (they were pretty simple and were in the demo). I've also edited out most of the female handler's dialogue as it didn't add anything to the experience and is quite irritating. The dialogue and voice acting for the Cat is much better though and he's your main companion for the game. Also, If you're mainly here for the story, I'd recommend watching 04:39 And special thanks to Ken from Pichon Games for the new intro animation! :)
I'm really sick of these amazing puzzle games tacking on some pointless artsy dialog. Every 'trippy' puzzle game since Portal and Stanley Parable seems to have done it. Just for once I'd like to see a puzzle game with amazing mechanics, where it's just a puzzle game. No 'beautiful mind' dialog. No irritating person talking to you through a loud speaker or a tape deck (looking at you Superliminal.) I kind of blame portal and Stanley for that string of nonsense, but those two games got it right.
@80TheMadLord08 what about The Witness? There's some lore about the world implied just in the visuals, but otherwise it's just beautiful surroundings and good puzzles!
Finished the game a few hours ago Some of the stuff in this game genuinely feels like black magic. Like, I can almost kind of piece together how they might have gone about it, but actually getting it to work as seamlessly as it does is a truly grand achievement I do wish some ideas were explored a little more, though, and some of the early game dialogue feels almost reminiscent of Forspoken in my eyes with all the "Whoa, did *I* just do that" kinds of comments, but otherwise this game is absolutely phemomenal Also, I spent way too much time playing with the Tamogotchi
Yeah, there's some crazy coding wizardry going on here! I especially loved all the special pictures (the Tamagotchi, Stonehenge, the Zelda game, Scream, etc.). I really hope they add a sandbox mode where you can mess around and break stuff even more! :)
As a player, this is already quite mind-blowing. But I am certain that everyone who works in gamedev is looking at this game with unparalleled awe. I cannot even begin to imagine how the game works, let alone so smoothly.
This is bringing back good memories of Superliminal! Impressed to see other takes on the idea of building mechanics around perspective tricks that are only possible in a digital world.
Thank you ABG for blessing us with something to watch. RUclips is been bland these days and we really need content creators Ike you to dive deep into the world of gaming and find these hidden gems.
Something to rival the likes of that one perspective game I forgot the name of! On a serious note tho, its beautiful and wonderful at the same time! Thank you for this showcase!
This is an indie's mega game to play!! After Antichamber (2.5 hours) and Manifold Garden (3+ hours), came this. These 3 games utilises non-Euclidean geometry.
I didn't watch this whole video because this is definitely one I plan on buying. Didn't want spoilers. When the "simulation" ended, that was spoiler enough, lol. I immediately shot to Steam, wallet halfway out my pocket. Too bad there's no VR support. Just imagine what this would be like in VR! I'd never take the headset off.
one thing i especially like is that the grass and trees aren't waving back and forth on some sinusoid function like i'm not stoned already. nice aesthetics, like wandering around arcosanti in a dream.
It's beautiful, and clever... But the puzzles get very repetitive very quickly. They could have done so much more with this! However, considering it's a first outing for a game of this nature, it's an excellent example.

It was a great playthrough though
Thank you for this video

@@tracer.s Haven't played it! Might have to check it out. Thanks. I'm all for world building in these types of games, if it's delivery is good.
Очень классная концепция, хотелось бы сыграть, и посмотреть как эта игра ломает головы ютуберам и стримерам.

as someone with very little programming experience I can't even begin to imagine the work it must have taken to make this game work

Not even two minutes in and this game is blowing my mind. 😊
I find myself saying, "what!?" 🤯
Yeah, there's some god-tier coding behind this game. Especially when you get access to the portable camera!
Thank you ABG for blessing us with something to watch. RUclips is been bland these days and we really need content creators Ike you to dive deep into the world of gaming and find these hidden gems.
This is seriously clever. It’s a little like the witness in that you walk around and solve puzzles. I like it.
I didn't think you would cover the whole game. Now I got good background for my long boring homework
when I saw the trailer of this, I am shocked of how both trippy and amazing it is

Superliminal?

Wow, cool to see something so original and different!
Wheatley? What have they done to you!? My round boi is a cat!

I’m getting Superliminal Flashbacks and I love it!
This is so beautiful and relaxing ❤

Yea they too busy pushing the climate change cringe. This game could have been to much more.
Well done game devs…well fucking done.
Very interesting concept with a Portal/LSD Dream Emulator vibe
Holy shit, this is good stuff
I love the combat, the animations are amazing...I love it!
Finally, a game that perfectly portray what fever dreams like
Being able to travel through pictures is a superpower I wish I could have
Finally, after what, 9 years of wait? I remember a very early prototype was shown on >reddit in ~2014
Fantastic! What a masterpiece this is!
May I know the genre and name of the OST? Sounds similar to 'Exploration' from Hitman Silent assassin.
What an insane game! They should make titles like these GOTY not the usual bs we see
6:23 is that Elsa from Frozen?
