I absolutely love aluminium bronze and haven’t done it for six months so I thought today would be as good a day as any. Not the biggest bar but definitely a good looking one to chuck on the shelf. Now Sit back enjoy and have a great weekend my friends😁👍🏻
I thought about flying from Texas to Australia, just to break into his house and steal that collection of 10 mm sockets. But.... .... Ingot and Bullion would probably tear me to shreds! And what ever was left, would get melted down. Great video brother...and you're right; you turned scrap trash into 2 bars any one of your viewers would love to have. Keep it up!
I like that grabs a sledgehammer to drive a tiny nail that is a good one. These melts are always fun to watch. Have a great and MERRY CHRISTMAS, have fun melting things.
Have you ever used your temperature gun to watch how drastic the cooling is when you put the ingot on ice? I think that would be interesting to see the range of temperature from hot to cold and how quickly the temp. changes?
somebody needs to send him a literal truck full and dump it on his lawn lmao. not really, but maybe a full box. then he legit would have the largest collection of them, except for the factory that makes them, but that's not fair.
My pleasure. My whole household looks forward to your videos each week. I know how much work you put into these each week. The videography alone takes hours and hours to put together (I used to do all the videography for my kids school).
Hi Bigstack! Stopping by to say that we (myself and my kids) wait all week long to watch your videos on Fridays. They love to see your dumpster collections transformed i to treasure! They love Ingot and Bullion too - they are so cute!! Your hidden snacks are awesome too - always a surprise 😆. My son Matteo is here next to me asking if you can do another copper dust melt 👌🏻. Please keep up the awesome and entertaining work! Hope you get 10,000,000 subscribers one day. Greetings from Perth!
Been watching for a while now, didn’t realise how long, but now you’ve mentioned little Ingot is 3! I remember when he first started appearing in videos as a little pup. I remember when you put the first metal tag on your shelf too. Always nice to watch that collection grow as well.
It's amazing how much moisture is in the moulds before heating it up! That was cool to see it disappearingas the heat took effect. Awesome work as always 👍😀🔥🔥
I noted that too. It really is cool! And also terrifying to think that someone out there doesn't know they need to heat their mold before they pour.😬 After seeing the steam explosions Big has shown, I pitty a person that has it happen to them.😅
Man after watching you since your first video I have mad respect for you. To maintain your videos and to better yourself every time. Melt on brother. Great job man
Love the aluminum bronze and Nordic gold uploads! Awesome how you picked a real trashy motor and turned it into stack-worthy treasure. Keep up the good work!
That 10mm box needs a lock and security system with that amount of sockets in mate!! And for those who don't know, 10mm is the most common tool stolen and/or lost in any toolbox or jobsite.
Wow...almost as shiny as Nordic. I can understand about the Zinc and opting for AL Bronze. I love your medium today...wasn't sure how things were going to turn out regarding size of ingots. I figured most of the crud would come out, if not before, with the slag drag. End product, in my eyes and mind, was a might better looking than Nordic Gold. Love seeing the boys, and the sammy looked rather tempting. I had to pause the video and grab a nibble. As always, a great video....and now, off to bed to dream of propane tanks, smelting forges, tongs, cura;lav.....zzzzzzzzzz.
Completely relaxing watching your channel. Love seeing the trash to treasure process. By the way, absolutely love the dogs names in Aurebesh under the motor tags!
Would love to know the metallurgical properties of the alloys you've shown. Sure, melting point, shear strength, density, conductivity, all good measures of a metals qualities. But what I really want is for you to make a cube of the alloys and send it to the How Ridiculous guys to see how it drops from a tower. 😄
I thought I’d comment now, as I don’t need to watch this new video yet to know it will be another great one 👌👍🇦🇺😉💪. But well done to You “BigStackD” on all You,…and “the boys”, …have achieved with this channel, be proud mate as obviously a lot of people enjoy, including myself, watching You do Your thing. It’s just good to sit down and relax with a brew and watch on to see You climb towards the big “1 ton”!! 💪 And I wonder if You could get some real gold to melt down?, for Your special, “reaching the 1 ton video”, 😉👍…….keep up the great work champion, cheers 😊👌👍🇦🇺💪🍻🍻

I hope You and the Fam has a wounderful X Mass see ya next week cheers Mate
Really enjoyed this weeks vid - great seeing that gnarly old motor cleansed in the fiery furnace of your forge into a couple of shiny bars. I agree with you - that alloy looks great. Also great to see the boys as always and hope you guys have a great holiday! And of course holiday socks and cold beer appreciated! 🎄👍
LOL Love the hammer used to put the tiny nail in. Merry Christmas to you bigstackD thanks for the wonderful videos in 2021. 2022 should be the year to hit 1 ton!
Hello D... boy that piece really looked dirty and rough until you transformed it. Nice recovery as usual. When you were finishing up the mirror shine at the end you weren't wearing any gloves. I've often wondered if you burn your fingers as I imagine that friction from the buffing wheel has got to heat the metal up some? I hope you, your family and the boys all have a very Merry Christmas this year and a super happy New Year's as well! 💙✌️
Thank you for sharing your skills and your love for pop culture.. when you took this bar out of the ice.. it was a great piece of art… What looked to me like an old man’s face, forrest and someone Panted Gold On The Bar.. Treat yourself: Pause it at 9:31/21:03 right When you said "I Love This Golden Color" You Were Right!! also the paint like strokes on the Golden Bar really was unique.. I have seen all of the video yet.. But this one should have been shelved as is.. at least that one side.. thank You again and enjoy your week.. ✊🏾
Honestly didn't think I would be as fascinated with this kind of stuff as I am. Really love seeing all that "trash" getting turned into something pure and beautiful. And getting to see what I got and Bullion are up to, lol.
My brotha from down unda its always great to watch your channel. I was thinking how you reward yourself after the melt, I forget that there is nothing wrong with that and that we all should do that after a hard days work. I need to remember to stop and take a step back and enjoy the works of my hands. Much love 🤜🤛🤘
🇧🇷 good morning. Impressive to watch the conservation of copper rescued from the trash bins. here in brazil persons actually steal the copper wiring from the street traffic lights at any given intersection. The roads are sometimes without the signals. We’re speaking of hundreds of thousands of currency. Thanks for being honest and a true patriot of our planet.
Seeing that bar with the hole in it and then seeing your punches laid on the bench gave me an idea. Cast a copper bar and drill holes to stand your punches up In them. Shiny punch holder!
12:33 So that's how you stay in such good shape despite the beers, giant burritos & huge burgers: throwing around 20kg weights! lol😂 I love the boys pool! They really go swimming when it's hot out? They are just too cute 🥰 oh & I had to laugh at you using a sledgehammer to tap in that little finish nail to hang that tag 🤭
Stack, what do you do with all the dust you collect from grinding/polishing? Does jt get added to the mixed dust jar? Is t stuck in air filters and needing to be reclaimed? I'd personally love to.see a dust melt episode where it's just all the junk from your grinding station.
Becoming real interested in the aluminium bronze lately. Awesome for cast manifolds at a temperature we can manage in our own Devil Forge. Correct? Well if it melts coper, job done right.
Been watching this channel for a few months now and I have to say I'm shocked that this is an Aussie channel and I haven't seen 1 reference for Not here to f*** spiders. Also, thanks for the motivation to do something like this. I've already gotten about 15 electric motors stashed so I have material when I get my smelter.
So question... you ever think about doing a melt away from the garage? Like, say, trying to cast an anthill hole with aluminum like some of those anthill art channels.
Believe it or not, the first time I'd heard of aluminum bronze was as an alloy in a Minecraft mod, referred to as aluminum brass(possibly because of the color of the alloy itself). Really interesting to see what it looks like outside of a game. I hope you get the urge to make more of this alloy in the future!
Not sure if you've done it before but if you could find an old aluminum ladder to melt would be cool. I used to deliver billets to Werner ladders. Would love seeing a ladder melted down.
If by chance that he'd have any spillage or splattering of molten metal, the gloves coverings might reduce the chance of the LP gas line being melted & causing a HUGE fire problem, and very quickly.

Wow, this man is an absolute legend, I don't think I've seen a 10mm socket since the summer of 1998
I remember the video where he found one under his tool box. Literally pissed my pants.
All tool sets should come with 3 or 4 10mm !
@@ruebenmikoch same! 😂
Funny in a nice way 😂
Dang that wrap looks yummy, idk if it's a gyro, burrito, or just a wrap but it still is sooo yummy looking~

I like how you included the sounds of the birds in the video.
You sir, definitely now have the worlds largest collection of 10 mm sockets for sure. Great melt, nice bars. Another fantastic video.
somebody needs to send him a literal truck full and dump it on his lawn lmao. not really, but maybe a full box. then he legit would have the largest collection of them, except for the factory that makes them, but that's not fair.
I have 25 10mm sockets. Just got them today. I promise they will all be gone in less than a week.
Love the bird that makes a guest appearance in the background of almost all of your videos.
The excellent condition of those awesome dogs os the main reason for me to follow this channel.
Incredible.
Always so relaxing to watch. May the stack continue to grow
That was a lovely green flame today. Thank you.
Never thought I'd enjoy watching someone melt random metal into ingots so much.
Thanks!
Thanks matey . Your certainly the Top Super Thanker😁👍 I really do appreciate it.😆

Stainless steel armored hose is not that expensive, made just for this type of use.
