I saw a tweet that mentioned they think they focused a lot on a footwork based choreo for butter since yoongi still is recovering a bit from his shoulder, it does make sense they didn't do an intense choreo in that perspective 👀
And Yoongi did a great job from what I saw, this makes a lot of sense!
exactly, even tho he's doing well in the recovery, a choreography like ON or Idol is probably kinda heavy to do it for now
My heart is SOARING with how much Jin got to be centerstage and all those lines! I'm just so happy!

The slow mo was something I didn’t think I needed but I’m grateful for 😂💜
Too many forget that they never wrote dynamite, they didn’t change anything about the song, when comparing it to Butter... which Butter is a song they wrote and participated in. Namjoon wrote the rap parts. There was no rap in dynamite because it wasn’t written with that in mind.. they killed it with dynamite and Jin absolutely still loves this song when asked about what song they love 😂 I think they’re happy about singing in English, and I don’t see the issue since they sing in two other languages as well.. they just finally decided to step out of a box they put themselves in and try a song in English. I like Butter more than Dynamite but it’s not like I’m gonna skip dynamite if it ever came on 😂 they really knew what they were doing with this song, and THIS song shows everyone what and who BTS are because they did exactly what they would do if it were written and sung in Korean (majority in Korean as they like to have English mixed in as well). Their wordplay is just as amazing in English. Anyways, I absolutely enjoyed this reaction so much, so thank you!!
actually the lyrics are "no ice on my wrist I'm a n-ice guy" so we have here a word play and the verse could mean that they don't need anything expensive to be cool cause it's not what matters the most
also landon you're right, there's also a reference to usher's "remind me" 💜

Namjoon made another great since he was fully involved in the lyrics and the production as well wrote all the Rapline parts. They all as always slayed it I can’t with all of them.

Same thoughts about the choreography but I get a feeling that this is the summer song that they want everyone to be able sing and dance along to. My friend also reminded me, hold those thoughts until the BBMA performance coz we can only see the full choreography then. I still love love love the song and the MV. It makes me so happy! Jin is indeed a criminal. He just killed me.

The song is so HAPPY. I cannot wait for the energy of their live performances (especially because I didn't see enough dance legend Hoseok in the MV 😕). BTS do the summer pop song perfectly but I would love to see some Korean (particularly Korean rap) integrated into their English songs. Let's be real, these lyrics are not representative of their incredible lyricism and layered metaphors but for a catchy bop, it works brilliantly 😊

the choreo from what we see now is easy on arm movements for yoongi IMO. the most going on is def the footwork, which i love. im sure he only does how much hes comfortable with but it still makes me warm
not all kinds of songs need or should have hard rap verses and tannies have many times said they do many kinds of songs and mashed up genres and they dont care abt what boxes they should be fitting in. some of their kr songs have longer more complicated rapverses, some have less. namjoon Wrote half of rap on butter too. noone's ever satisfied if they wanna pick at it, if its the opposite then people complain vl has too little... i think its really time to let them do whatever they want cause they clearly do what they want to do atp and with confidence too. additionally i really dont like it when people box yoongi into agust d. thats One of his expression outlets and as valid as any other.. the man's current goal/dream is to sing folk korean songs with a guitar!

Jin - 1st 6 digits he typed randomly on his cell
Yoongi - Same as Jin
Namjoon - His old building and unit number
JK - Well this is special. 11.06.04 is the date JK moved into the dorm. Awwwww
Tae - He knows 000001 means something but doesn't exactly what
Hobi - 660660 is a pager language (if you remember that era). It means kiss coz it resembles the Korean word 뽀뽀 which means kiss.
Jimin - This is special too. 14.10.18 is when they had their 1st concert :)

Since you are definitely the other one of my two favorite reactors, who appreciates the visuals with all the details, I had to get my thoughts out here too on one thing.
Have you or any other Armys present noticed the visual references to iconic heist movies? Watching those „smooth criminals“ over and over again I noticed the references to „The usual suspects“ (identification line-up right in the beginning) and „Ocean‘s 11“ with the suits, the lollipop (like Brad Pitt in the movie), the elevator going up to the „criminal gathering“...
I totally see those kind of movies on the mood boards for the production.
I couldn’t help but think of the also very iconic elevator speech from „Ocean’s 11“ when Tae pushed the TOP button. They’re going to take the “house” while announcing it!!
