I love listening to you reading these stories. I hope you are enjoying your vacation and recharging your batteries. I appreciate the posts while you're out, but be sure to take care of yourself. We'll be here when you get back. These tales are definitely worth the wait!!!
Andrew is the girl, Tonya, who is being treated for the chemical burns/poisoning. Andrew isn't real..he's just a part of these cast of characters the girl made up while in coma/while being hypnotized (remember the references to the watch). Our brains work out healing us this way when under a lot of distress. Andrew represents Tonya who, as the story says, (she feels that way anyways) "wasn't loved" growing up. Andrew's dad, the professor I think, is the one who put his mother away, represents the girls parents. That is why when Ellis (I think it was Ellis) pulls the plug on Andrews father, Andrew gets mad because now that dad is dead, he is removed from the equation and Ellis is seen as the next person who caused all the heartbreak. Andrew kills her/him, I can't remember which at the moment, so the power is back into Tonya's hands. Next, Marcus, also a figment of her brain goes and she is upset about that...but it's all necessarily to allow Tonya to heal all those dynamics and put the power back into her own hands in regards to her life. Her and fully her. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. Ultimately, it's all conflicting, like a push and pull type way Tonya's brain is fixing itself. Also I may have got the names mixed up because I suck at names.
@@manicminded ya ever try Melatonin? It works for me. And trust me, I have a high tolerance for crap. So if it works for me it should work for most people.
Ambien makes me get up at night and go eat out of the fridge. SEROQUEL is where it's at. That stuff would leave a Rhino snoring. I have the most vivid dreams in it too.
I feel like I’m the only one frustrated for them about them both not going when it never said just one. Or anything that was happening towards the end 😭
@@Poodleinacanif your first answer is milk then the other things must be perfume and household cleaners because that’s crazy to say milks your favorite lmao
Honestly, the only thing that could lend this any credence as a creepy story is the graphic nature of a good portion of it. The romance was half-baked and was rushed in all at the end and I feel like it could have done without completely, as it didn't add any cohesion or catch my attention any more than to just cringe at how out of place it seemed. In my opinion, a fatal flaw in an otherwise well-written story. That being said, I would love to hear more like this.
I've crossed between the veil a few times in my life with NDEs, so, hearing stories about it, whether a completely fictional tale, or somebody's story of their own NDE always feels extra personal to me. Based on ny experience and conversations I've had with other NDE survivors, I can safely say there is some form of afterlife, and, to a degree, each one is personal, but, with shared similarities. Therefore, I don't think there's one religion who have it fully nailed down, meaning things like Valhalla and Helheim from Norse can be just as valid and real as the Duat from Egyptians, Swarg and Narak from Hindu, Heaven and Hell from various forms of Abrahamic beliefs. Whilst I personally believe many of these afterlives are within the same family of realms (for lack of better terminology) with various Gods and Goddesses guiding those whom believe in them with the ability to freely travel and visit amongst the realms (primarily because I follow Norse and Hel as my primary religion and Goddess), for all I know, they may also be heavily segmented with travel being allowed only amongst similar realms of Polytheistic or Monotheistic beliefs. Sorry for the ramble, studying afterlives and listening to stories about them is just a special interest of mine and the ending of this one helped me click some ideas in my head before bed, lol.

So today I need to clean the house. It’s prime Creepen time! Love how much I get done listening to the Doctor!
Normally I don’t go for love stories but this one was really well written and awesomely narrated
Its tops when the Dr gets exclusive rights to share with us an amazing story from a badass writer. And yes as always, favorite drink in hand.

Amdrew should have been the one to pull the plug or refuse to let his father go until they discuss things.

There better not be anything after. Death is the well deserved sleep after a lifetime of work..
yay! :D
Cozy 😃🤟🏻
I'm nothing close to a medical professional, and even I can tell all (or at least most of) the doctor sounding stuff was BS.
Same, it completely broke the immersion for me and was a bit frustrating
If I saw a doppelganger of myself I wouldn't bother to save it. Its not me.
Snap it's neck so ot doesn't get me.
What it's actually you who are the doppelganger?
Already too many commercials and I haven’t been listening that long, so this is not to help me sleep
Does anyone know the background piano music that starts at 0:15 seconds
Things that make you go hmmmmm!
Five what!!!😢😢😢😢
