    The previous generation R3 had a very high margin speedo error in comparison to the accurate RC390. And there by 190kph on R3 was equal to 175kph of RC. Hope Yamaha has sorted it out in this variant... for, the price is hefty!

I went with a bunch of ktm guys and some kids saw them and identified all the ktm bikes properly including my friends 790 but they saw my bike and didn't even know what bike it was.

    Hey man! Just found your channel through the latest Honda CB650R review, great content, the more I see of this bike the more I fall in love with it! I was wondering if you would recommend the CB650R over the Honda CB300R for a beginner? I'm asking because I’m watching videos to find out about what should be the first bike I own. And even though I wouldn't mind starting on a 300cc bike in this economy I feel like selling it would be nearly impossible in order to upgrade. I wonder what’s your opinion about getting a Honda CB650R as a first bike. Pricier for sure, but I don't want to buy another one in a few years and it appears to me that the CB650R might be a good choice being a beginner as well as long term ownership, and that in line 4 sound... I'm in love with it. It has amazing reviews, haven’t heard anything bad about it so far (maybe that it's not that snappy with the throttle but I'm not an agressive driver anyway) everyone who rides it loves it. Do you think it works well as a beginner bike for a responsible rider? I would use it for city and longer trips as well. Thank you in advance! Have a good one!

    • @iamstrell
      @iamstrell  6 месяцев назад

      Hey, IMO CB650 is a beginner bike for someone who has experience in riding 300cc bikes. As you said, if you are responsible for riding, you will slowly get used to it in a month or so. It is not at all an uncomfortable bike to start with.

      Engine is practically 80% of a bike. Look at the Apache 310. Beautiful bike but the vibey engine isn't great which is why it doesn't sell.. The R3 is a great track bike and other than the high price it's still a brilliant bike.

      I have an R3, and rode an RS 457 a few days ago.
      The R3 is superior in every way, handles like a scalpel.
      I’ve been riding for 15 years now, and my background is mechanical engineering. Being of Italian descent, I’m not knocking Italian quality, but when it comes to machinery and its reliability, Japan is far superior.
      Even the plastic of the LCD screen on the Yamaha is an almost matte, low reflective material, whereas the Aprilia is high gloss and very reflective…very distracting as my helmet reflected quite a bit.

And we have wide area of Servicing network than Aprilia or other Brand and seat height also the lower even less height will also easily ridden. It's just a pure and smothest machine aggressive than Aprilia, so in terms of reliability and smothest machine I will go for R3. Paying extra 50k is OK for me. Reliability Matters for me!!!
