Awesome video man! One of your best videos, loved all the running action. The switching scene with the Genset was great, and all your SD70ACe heritage units from MTH. Thanks for sharing and have a great one!
very nice video. I remember watching you first video a coulpe years ago and looking at it now is filling cool i hope one day i have an layout like yours thanks for all the video you posted, it also gave me some ideas for my ho scale layout.
Eric you will probably (until you quit the hobby) never cease to amaze me with your collection of O Gauge trains it always gets me in the hype to wanna play with my trains more and more each day. Looking forward to more of these run videos along with your blogs and product reviews keep up the fantastic work Eric, you're an inspiration to all of us O scale railroaders.
0:00 Not exactly prototypical... But a lot of fun to watch! 1:48 Loving that German crewtalk! 3:17 Am I the only one who finds that gravely sound very satisfying? 6:44 That's a lot of action right there 8:19 Awesome cylinder smoke! 11:16 - 14:00 Great switcher sequence! 18:10 Beautiful train and even more beautiful passenger cars.
Hey Eric, each video gets better than the last. Thanks for your time and effort. Trains, trains and more trains that I had not seen from you before. Keep them coming. Thanks again
We were going on a drive today and saw Canadian Pacific and CP Rail in Goshen Indiana and I yelled at my family,''THEY CROSSED THE BOARDER!'' We were all laughing and the whole train was CP Rail. I remembered this from the Canadian Pacific Switcher.
Great video Eric. Just wondering though, is there any reasons as to why you don't run any trains with a mid-powered unit or a rear pusher on your long trains?
From Norwich,Great Britain. Hi there Eric,I agree completely why you avoid wide shots, because I scratch build all my stuff for my own modest oo scale railway layout and do record them all,but try hard to aviod in the shot what my wife refures to as Rubbish, but I refure to as,Needful Things all stacked up in a System of Highly Orginized Clutter! By the way Eric,Your loccomotives and what they pull look Mighty Crisp and Clean, and so very,Very Good!Thank`s for sharing your layout in this way.
Eric I must say that was one of the best ever, you must buy smoke oil by the gallon. many thanks for sharing it I have been truly inspired now to get rid of my G scale stuff and Go Lionel. I love the crew talk by the way
By the way brilliant layout enjoy each video you produce. By the way just how much moneys worth of trains do you have and were do you keep it (like in boxes or on a wall)
I haven't done any high up views of running action on the layout for a couple reasons. First, since the layout is spread out over 4 rooms there's no one shot that would get everything. Secondly, and more importantly, I try to avoid wide shots because they allow you to see parts of the room that are not the layout....in other words you can see plain walls and the carpet on the floor and so forth. I feel that seeing stuff that's off the layout looks sort of amateurish. But that's just my feeling.
Best one yet Eric! I loved the yard ops, Lionel's crew talk dialogue is just too cool! I know it takes a lot of time to put one of these together, so thank you for sharing. Ethan
Love the blue UP livery, never seen that before. Any chance you could do a tutorial on ground cover scenery? Really enjoyed all your other how-to videos.
Of all the variety of locomotives you have and all the road names, do you have or plan to get any L&N locomotives or rolling stock? My personal favorite is the 152 rogers Pacific, but I don't even know if they make a model of it.
very nice and the Norfolk Southern only scene reminded me of there conjunction junction commercial but I think another cool hobby that u would probably like is buying a train horn
Hey man love the layout were did you get that black bridge that the Norfolk and southern Abba set with the passenger cars come from or were did you get it
hi eric my name is roy u need some crains and truck's and car's to your layout it will draw more a attention to your fan's ? i was going to go with the two track version when i seen your video blog it's more batter then the two tack ? lol go eric can't wait to see the next video
Hi Eric could it be possible that you could do a high up view of the running. maybe the sort of view you see instead of all low down view so that we can see a bit more a bit like the shunting view in the video
DO NOT HUMP means that the cars should not be rolled over the yard hump. The yard hump is a hill that they roll the cars up onto and then gravity pulls the cars down the hump and into their respective classification tracks. Oversized and/or specialty cars will often have the DO NOT HUMP label to let workers know that those cars should not be sent over the hump.
Ha, that is a bit off topic. I chopped all my hair off in 2007. I think it took about 2 years or so to grow back once I decided to grow it back. If you look at some of my older videos from 2009 I had short hair and by the time I did my first blog video in early 2011 it was long again.
As an n-scaler, I can relate to the love one has for his scale. But the way the pilot's attach to the trucks, to me, kind of ruins the realism. As well as the sharp curves. Is that why the pilot is separate in the first place? Awesome layout nonetheless!

6:39 into the video super cool
I've never like O-Scale.... Until now.
Great video Eric. Just wondering though, is there any reasons as to why you don't run any trains with a mid-powered unit or a rear pusher on your long trains?
Great video Eric! It shows of your layout very nicely. Your tunnels and retaning wall are super wll done, your tslent shows of extremely well. 5*****
I am loving your running videos! Do you plan on ever getting an amtrak p42 or f40ph or any amtrak trains to run a passenger line?

many thanks for sharing it I have been truly inspired now to get rid of my G scale stuff and Go Lionel. I love the crew talk by the way
That awesome Eric!!! I really like all of that prototypical freight operation on your layout.
By the way brilliant layout enjoy each video you produce. By the way just how much moneys worth of trains do you have and were do you keep it (like in boxes or on a wall)
I have been watching from the start and I can not believe what I am seeing that is so real and so awesome
Awesome as usual. Thanks for sharing.
15:21 that horn sounds amazing
Great job Eric. .Thanks for sharing. . Love the MTH NS Dealership Set

Great work - I love the green weathered paint on your new steel tress bridge. Does the Yellowstone MTH set also include a matching caboose .
I have watched from the start and I can not believe how real it looks
This is amazing! How long did it take you to put your track together?
At least 1 year because of that track.
Best one yet Eric! I loved the yard ops, Lionel's crew talk dialogue is just too cool! I know it takes a lot of time to put one of these together, so thank you for sharing.
Ethan
great vid cant wait to see a review on those tanks keep it up
It was just a suggestion, thats what the comment section is for.
The norfolk southern dash 9 is a classic.
I'd love to see more of the conrail dash-8
What's the name of that Conrail locamotive in the middle at 6:25? Because that had an amazing horn!
Cool video. Good camera angles. Keep up your good work.
One word sums it up, AWESOME !!!
Love the blue UP livery, never seen that before. Any chance you could do a tutorial on ground cover scenery? Really enjoyed all your other how-to videos.
Did you watch the road totural
Of all the variety of locomotives you have and all the road names, do you have or plan to get any L&N locomotives or rolling stock? My personal favorite is the 152 rogers Pacific, but I don't even know if they make a model of it.
Beautiful!
I have the Best O Scale POLAR Express my POLAR EXPRESS Cost 8000 dollars for the set

Great, I hope to go to peigmont mount pilgrimage *exuse my spelling, I live in Kentucky but its around my birthday and fallbreak so I hope I can go
that union pacific 1996 engine was helping to pull the union pacific 4014 as for the union pacific 1995 i was that in salem or
Hey man love the layout were did you get that black bridge that the Norfolk and southern Abba set with the passenger cars come from or were did you get it
Who are you to say "lay off the horns and whistles"? That's the very thing we railfans live for, besides it's Eric's layout.
Awesome video Eric! I should have gone to bed a half hour ago, but I just had to watch this video...lol. Great Job!!!
Nice heritage train in the beginning.
I don't just have the polar express I have a great CSX

hi eric my name is roy u need some crains and truck's and car's to your layout it will draw more a attention to your fan's ? i was going to go with the two track version when i seen your video blog it's more batter then the two tack ? lol go eric can't wait to see the next video
that look cool having collectible of train you have
Ramsey love
You should create your own version of Conjunction Junction. N.S. did there version with real trains for a commercial.
Hi Eric could it be possible that you could do a high up view of the running. maybe the sort of view you see instead of all low down view so that we can see a bit more a bit like the shunting view in the video
On those NASA wagons, i noticed it said, DO NOT HUMP, I know its a type of shunting. But not sure how it works.
At 18:07, why did you take out the spur line there? Are you thinking of putting it back? What's the deal?
Outstanding Eric!!
Like that dome observation car where did you get it
it seems that MTh nor Lionel can get ditch lights to osculate at a prototypical speed
DO NOT HUMP means that the cars should not be rolled over the yard hump. The yard hump is a hill that they roll the cars up onto and then gravity pulls the cars down the hump and into their respective classification tracks. I love it! You've expanded to quite the collection this year.
I run Mth dcs, does Lionel's system hook up the same way? And do they interfere with each other?
When was the last time you ran your MTH Norfolk Southern OCS train?
Hey Eric, will there be any chance of you reviewing the lionel EP-2 Bipolar locomotive?
Dear Eric,
I hope you're comfortable with me asking, what do/did you do for a living?
Ha, that is a bit off topic. I chopped all my hair off in 2007. I think it took about 2 years or so to grow back once I decided to grow it back. If you look at some of my older videos from 2009 I had short hair and by the time I did my first blog video in early 2011 it was long again.
love the nasa trucks......

I have it and it’s horn is spectacular, sadly I only have a transformer, so I can’t access all of its features.
Ferromodelismo ne caras 🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋🚋
wow awesome video sweet UP heritage equipment
As an n-scaler, I can relate to the love one has for his scale. But the way the pilot's attach to the trucks, to me, kind of ruins the realism. As well as the sharp curves. Is that why the pilot is separate in the first place?
Awesome layout nonetheless!

First! Great video eric!
When was the last time you ran your MTH DM&IR Yellowstone?

On some of the train cars did it say do not hump
Yep, it refers to 'hump shunting', still pretty amusing.
Ferromodelismo de verdade
And I thought n-scale was expensive!!
