I liked the series but Ken just rubs me the wrong way
It's the ego. His daughter drove me nuts. I cringed a lot when she was on screen. The show was enjoyable enough.
How do you like to get rubbed? Let me ask my Dad
Hes a sleazy conman, of course he rubs you the wrong way.
Con artist
I'm surprised the room is big enough to contain all of those egos.
you’re still here 🎉
One day you’ll be able to buy that card you like
@@findstevesface7701 Yeah, you're right. But "the stuff" got me here... not the narcissists.

The show was a big ad promo for ken the swindler. All he wants to do is churn and churn and churn the items.....whatever it takes to make a commission. And WTF....those are your offices? What a crazy no-taste office.
So much oily salesman vibes... if any of these people knocked on my door I'd point to the Beware of Dog sign. Worst side of the hobby.
This was a pretty self-serving documentary. How did Manning get Netflix to agree to what amounted as a 6 part advertisement for Goldin. Peyton Manning in the series, also an executive producer and an investor in Goldin. Entirely self-serving. Netflix really stooped pretty low to get this on their channel.
Prime example of ruining the hobby.
Ok to watch but all this stuff is out of 99% of people's league
What do you think the dream team players are telling themselves seeing all those items, signed to Karl, being auctioned off? The show definitely makes Goldin look like he antagonizes collectors for their items, to fatten his pockets. He’s the same scammer from his scoreboard days. Wouldn’t be anywhere if it wasn’t for his Father.
I said the same thing that was very stupid of Karl Malone
There will be people sitting on the couch with their $15 per hour jobs deciding to join rhe hobby and buy some $10 Patrick Maholmes cards.
I’ve heard that this baller has an 8 figure bank account
Anything to pump collectibles 🤣
That series was incredible
Great show 1 -6 straight.
Ya dip?
I have an 8 figure bank account
The Ken Goldin Netflix series was pretty interesting. Some incredible collectibles, and a few good stories too. My favorites were the teenager with the Steph Curry rookie card...and the guy with his son that, sold their Lewis Hamilton auto 1/1.
“Celebrities” = those pillaging our hobby
y looking at it wrong .. celebrities and big money make the hobby and value of cards more profitable for everyone. Simple economics .. no value if you have no demand, and especially no value if everyone is broke.
Facts.
I shop with Fanatics and their pricing me out soon. Non HOF signatures and first time all stars for +$200. Some how getting paid millions to play isn’t enough.
I couldn’t make it through one episode. Cheese.
Ken’s handshake is exactly what I expected.
Was Kobe there?
Dip ✅
Chain watched the Netflix series, was really good and a nice insight into that world. Best parts were segments of normal everyday people with huge paydays.
This show for a card collector is the holy grail.
This Netflix show for a card collector is just major hopefully a ton of people watch this and get into the hobby, currently watching this show it’s amazing.
If it grows less cards for me and you
I think we have too many people still to be honest lol
Yeah, and hopefully the new people understand the hobby right. It is about collecting and having fun. Not about business and profit bullshit. :)
Nice video!!! Hobby to the moon!
Binged the series with my son yesterday. We enjoyed it!
all that crap aint worth $40 million. This aint 2021!
1st like and comment
💀
Sounds like a personal problem.
Shyne looked so depressed lol
This Karl Malone Dream team collection must be worth 100 million dollars. This is the best team (in any sport) in history. 👏
lol Mike Tyson is the last episode
Incredible--Geoff/Rob Veres can pull off his own show or season 2?
Why is everybody shouting? So loud!!! Seller tactic, overstimulate the senses, makes for bad decision making 😬🤓👏
It's like how when you're in the club and the music is bumpin' and someone calls you and you're shouting "WHAT I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" even though THEY can hear you just fine since you're screaming directly into the phone's microphone but you can't hear yourself so that's why you're shouting into the phone. Whatever that phenomenon is called.
First
If Mike Bloomberg and the guy from TMZ had a child...
Love the casual pass over of the artist proof black lotus....lol
Good content Geoff, I'll be watching the documentary tonight. Just bought a 2020 Panini National Treasures Prodigy Patch Autographs White Box #PPA-JAH, Jalen Hurts Signed Patch Rookie Card (#1/1) - Jersey Number - Panini Encased on Goldin. I'm excited to get it graded!
The show is great! Very entertaining and I don’t watch too much reality tv
Watched the Logan Paul episode, it was neat. They ripped a few 1st edition boxes lol
The game is so exciting really with items reaching incredible levels of value it shows how the social media is running the show perfectly
Did Akerman call Geoff Ken???😅
Some of these jerseys are hilarious
Not Rovell he's the worst
scikkeria
This is a MUST WATCH if you Love sports cards! We love TV shows like this...thanks Geoff for sharing this with us viewers :)
Watching the series right now
Game used bats are overrated. Dudes play 162 games a year, play 40 years, probably have 1000+ bats
40 years, huh?
@@HereForAStorm I mean Julio Franco. 😆
@@HereForAStorm I think that was a typo. Should have been 60 years and over 40,000 bats used in a single season.
@@HereForAStorm yea, 40 years. Ur forgetting about little league ty Cobb bat relics.
Sci never has a bad video
Just bad takes
Dope
❤🎉
