Yay! So good to see you Apple, thank you so much for posting this video. I have made the Penang curry I learnt with you about 15 times since I returned to Australia.
I grew up and lived in Thailand for 22 years and this is my all-time favorite dish...I'm so excited to find a recipe!!! I just made your stir fry galam pri - it was so good! Now - if only I could find some morning glory.
Since this video was released recently I’ve already made this dish 4 times! It’s really delicious and quick to prepare. I like that it’s a non meat meal that feels like a proper meal. It must be the umami taste of the oyster sauce and soybean paste that makes that feel. I’ve used fresh spinach leaves and broccoli from the supermarket as I don’t have access to ‘morning glory’ here in Denmark.
Hey Apple, great that you are on RUclips now! Last year I learned with you how to make laab mu springrolls and thai Curry. I have cooked it so many times now, since I am home again and everytime it makes me think of the lovely day cooking with you! :)
Apple we loved attending your cooking school and now with this RUclips channel i am especially excited - keep the videos coming its a lovely way to connect with you and Thai Food :)
That's a great idea to use RUclips for your cooking class. I'm happy to see what's your next meal. I miss thailand. Best wishes from Germany and the(roasted almonds)
I love Thailand! The world's kitchen ❤️🇹🇭🇺🇸 best people I have ever met. My favorite dish is Thai holy basil, egg and rice. So many varieties of cooking, Issan style and Bangkok style my favorites.
Hey Apple, we really enjoyed your cooking class and love even more the video you just uploaded here. Please continue with uploading such videos, it really helps a lot and brings vacation during these difficult times back home! Looking forward for a Phad Thai video :-)
Please if you have time do some more of these cooking class videos! You're soooo cute and such a good cook. And we are so bored here in Melbourne lockdown (this lockdown 2 months, like prison!!!) so your videos are keeping us entertained. If you could do a Thai fried rice video I would be so incredible happy. My husbands favourite is Morning Glory though, so thank you x
Looks tasty. I still haven't managed to make the Thai fishcakes you taught me as we have been in some form of lockdown since returning, but I will be giving them a try when I can and will let you know how I get on.
Hi Apple thanks for sharing this recipe. Please keep them coming. Our two boys still talk about the amazing food we cooked in September last year and the thunderstorm that we sat through! We hope that you and your family are safe and well. We hope to be back to Khao Lak soon.
Thanks Amai, yes I would cook the broccoli for the same amount of time but I do like my vegetables a little crunchy rather than soft. You can always score the stems with a cross and they will cook faster.
Thanks for sharing Apple, it’s great to get to share your skills even while we can’t travel to Thailand. All the best! Jacki & Scott
My pleasure!
Yay! So good to see you Apple, thank you so much for posting this video. I have made the Penang curry I learnt with you about 15 times since I returned to Australia.
Thank you Rachel. I'm sure we will get to a Penang curry video soon :-)
A big thanks Apple, for the wonderful morning we spent in you kitchen learning to prepare delicious Thai food. Best wishes, Adam.

Delicious, but how long should I cook it if I use broccoli? Same 2-3 minutes?
Thanks Amai, yes I would cook the broccoli for the same amount of time but I do like my vegetables a little crunchy rather than soft. You can always score the stems with a cross and they will cook faster.
