- Stir fired morning glory (water spinach) in oyster sauce is one of the quickest and tastiest dishes in Thailand. Chef Apple will show you how to make an authentic Thai dish, with ingredients you can find at home.
If you are unable to find any ingredients in your local shops or closest Asian supermarket, check out our blog for alternatives:

Yay! So good to see you Apple, thank you so much for posting this video. I have made the Penang curry I learnt with you about 15 times since I returned to Australia.
Thank you Rachel. I'm sure we will get to a Penang curry video soon :-)
I grew up and lived in Thailand for 22 years and this is my all-time favorite dish...I'm so excited to find a recipe!!! I just made your stir fry galam pri - it was so good! Now - if only I could find some morning glory.
Thanks for sharing Apple, it’s great to get to share your skills even while we can’t travel to Thailand. All the best! Jacki & Scott
My pleasure!
Since this video was released recently I’ve already made this dish 4 times!
It’s really delicious and quick to prepare.
I like that it’s a non meat meal that feels like a proper meal. It must be the umami taste of the oyster sauce and soybean paste that makes that feel.
I’ve used fresh spinach leaves and broccoli from the supermarket as I don’t have access to ‘morning glory’ here in Denmark.
A big thanks Apple, for the wonderful morning we spent in you kitchen learning to prepare delicious Thai food. Best wishes, Adam.
Hey Apple, great that you are on RUclips now! Last year I learned with you how to make laab mu springrolls and thai Curry. I have cooked it so many times now, since I am home again and everytime it makes me think of the lovely day cooking with you! :)
I'm glad you kept on cooking. Maybe we will do video of that one day too.

Hey Apple, we really enjoyed your cooking class and love even more the video you just uploaded here. Please continue with uploading such videos, it really helps a lot and brings vacation during these difficult times back home! Looking forward for a Phad Thai video :-)
More coming soon. Glad you enjoy.
Please if you have time do some more of these cooking class videos! You're soooo cute and such a good cook. And we are so bored here in Melbourne lockdown (this lockdown 2 months, like prison!!!) so your videos are keeping us entertained. If you could do a Thai fried rice video I would be so incredible happy. My husbands favourite is Morning Glory though, so thank you x
Aw thank you Lou, nice of you to say. Okay I've added fried rice to my list. Green curry coming soon

Thanks E, am actually going to add that dish soon, just working on my green curry first.
That's a great idea to use RUclips for your cooking class. I'm happy to see what's your next meal.

Hi Apple thanks for sharing this recipe. Please keep them coming. Our two boys still talk about the amazing food we cooked in September last year and the thunderstorm that we sat through! We hope that you and your family are safe and well. We hope to be back to Khao Lak soon.
I hope so. See you next time you come to Khao Lak.
Just cooked it, aroi mak mak krab, also without the soybean paste 😊 greetings from Germany 😊
Thanks great Stephan, so glad you enjoyed
Are you Vietnamese? i like this video because your speaking speed is slow to listen and follow this recipe.
Memories. Me making mango sticky rice (sort of)at your place🤣
Haha. Keep practicing.
We loved cooking with Apple in Khao Oak! This video took me back there for a few minutes :) Keep posting videos Apple, it's a great idea!
Thank you! Will do!
Delicious, but how long should I cook it if I use broccoli? Same 2-3 minutes?
Thanks Amai, yes I would cook the broccoli for the same amount of time but I do like my vegetables a little crunchy rather than soft. You can always score the stems with a cross and they will cook faster.
@@riversidethaicooking606 Noted. Thank you ma'am.
Your Morning Glory looks delicious,,, And you look SWY muk muk! 🙏
Blush
@@riversidethaicooking606😂😂😂🙏👍

Very nicely presented Apple. I will try this at home. I will also come along to another one of your cooking courses in Khao Lak next time I visit.
Thank you Gordon. See you next time.
