Finally my boys. Thanks for hitting the world eaters and well done. One thing I always love about them in the last edition and this edition is although their rules are thematic and fun none of it is really gonna make your opponent never want to play you again haha…. Not something the IFs and iron warriors can say.
Yeah hundred percent and I've found most World Eaters players love to play their legion thematically. I lost games in 1st edition with my World Eaters cause I've gone for the suicidal charge rather than playing the mission. It's what I love the most about them, one dimensional, but so much fun.
World Eaters...my biggest fear. Every time I play them they have their way with me. Land raiders and Spartans loaded up with madmen, one is going get into your kitchen and then its game over. Keep the solid content rollin, gents.
Ffffffuuuuuccccckkkkk!!! Thank you🙌 I must have read that last sentence about 10 times and couldn't get my head around it!!! Kept reading it as 'advanced', well that's another thing for the rules correction next episode 😂😂😂
@@heresyhammer Happy to help. Also, it sounded like you guys shorted the LC red butchers an attack on the charge. 2 base, 1 for charge, 1 for incarnate violence, 1 for ravening mad man, and 2 for the twin LC for a total of 7 on the charge. FInally, don't forget that a Praetor with WS6 and a TH will hit them on 2's so with 5 attacks on the charge and brutal 2 its likely that preator will wipe the whole sqd of red butchers.
@@heresyhammer DoH!, i think you're right and I've messed up. I was giving the +1 attack from the Berserker upgrade that an independent character can do to all the Red Butchers. My apologies.
Space Wolves next please. Been gaming over 45 years in many periods but new to 30k - loads of new toys on the desk & no idea what to do with them other than build & paint!
I was already considering a command squad for my world eaters to help negate the red butchers low leadership but now I think I'll bulk the unit out even more to make it more of a threat on its own
Awesome, just what I needed to spur on the painting! I personally feel they have got less one dimensional with this change, just so many more ways to run them. I also wonder if beserker assault preds as fast attack is to free up for Spartans for big tac blobs? 👀
Don't know, if anyone is reading this after over a month, but Drop Pods don't automatically arrive on turn one anymore. They arrive with the rest of your DeepStriking Reserves. Atleast not outside of the Drop Pod Assault RoW, which is also the only way to assault out of a Kharybdis, since only this RoW allows assaulting out of DeepStriking Vehicles. 👍🏻
@@heresyhammer very true! I love them so much. Visually there is nothing I like seeing more than a mass of units deepstriking but with a 90% loss rate in this edition I’m finding it hard to want to use them so I’m playing my SOH more.
@@ellisowendaniel Yeah that sucks mate. Is that due to everyone having Augury Scanners and just intercepting you off the board? I've not had any experience with or against deepstriking yet.
"All units must declare a charge" sounds neat until your opponent starts baiting out your predator tanks because the driver seems to be jealous his gunner is getting all the kills.
Ha ha I love the idea of a World Eaters tank driver getting pissed off cause he wants to hit things. Getting baited out is the downside to this rule, however, don't forget that vehicles can't charge (Page 210 of the Age of Darkness rule book 'Assaulting with a Vehicle'), so you don't have to worry about Predator tanks going rogue. 👍
Page 143 Liber Hereticus, Liber Astartes and Page 127 Liber Mechanicum, under Rad Grenades the last line states 'Note: This does affect Instant Death thresholds'. Unless I'm missing something?....Which is quite possible!!!
have to laugh about bitching about the book because omg yeah - they're laid out so terribly! And besides that, there isn't a comprehensive index! I'd literally kill for a decent index in these things (ok not really, but I'd definitely consider extreme measures)
Great to listen to! Best legion!!
Thanks mate, it really is the coolest legion!
Oh great! Sunday morning listening with coffee & lashings of blood…
I'm 4 minutes in, loving the banter that could crush a weak soul. One to listen to with my headphones 😂
Glad you're enjoying it mate 💪
Awesome report, thanks.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. 🤘
Great stuff as always lads, nice to see an interesting legion on there! (Yes, dig at the last two junk legions 🤣)
Ha ha, Iron Warriors are ok, but Imperial Fists can get in the bin!!!

But is there anything cooler than a bunch of genetically engineered madmen in future tanks screaming across the battlefield?!!!
@@heresyhammer Maybe only the Salamanders.
@@nathanwright7154 wash your mouth out!!! 😂
Its the "advance", not "advanced reaction" for Angron's rule. So basically three WE units can run at the enemy during the movement phase.

Where are you getting that Red Hand Destroyers have Bitter Duty? Doesn't say that on the exemplary units pdf.

Shucks, it was neat they didn't have Bitter Duty
Sounds like it may be a way off, but would love to see your takes on EC
Pretty sure that advanced reaction is identical to the BA one but with FNP instead shrouded
Yeah you're right and shrouded isn't affected by instant death like FNP so I'd argue the BA version is better unless I'm missing something?!!!
