For new player: Sanctuary, Red Rocket and Abernathy Farm are considered The Triangle of Death. They share a cell and get loaded at the same time when fast traveling. Keep buildings and populations low, and be very careful if you use scrapping mods because no matter how powerful your PC is, if you break the cell your save is pooped. You'll get CTD when the cell loads.
40:45 - I like to put purified water in my clinics! It's another thing that stands up nicely, and it makes sense for a wasteland doctor to also provide safe, clean drinking water.
I'm defo making RTed Rocket for Sturges, It's so something he would love, plus he is still very close to sanctuary so he wont have to walk far to see us!
Please never change. I love your builds and these videos are so relaxing I had to watch this upload twice because I fell asleep watching it the first time, 👍. Your uploads are perfect for my Saturday night chill out time, thanks you.
That's exactly how I usually build, I scrap everything that is scrapable. I don't usually have a theme I usually just make a nice safe comfortable settlement for the settlers I really enjoy your videos, thank you so much.
I was so excited to finally sit down and watch this!! ✨ And such a cute settlement so far! Putting the clinic and general store in there?? I would have never thought of that!
I love your videos been watching for 3 months now and you are so good !!!!! Every time I see an upload I just have to make my ramen with egg and enjoy some relaxing settlement builds. So awesome to see other building perspectives on fallout 4. ❤
for more stuff to put on shelf in clinic, you could do purified water and save the medical supply boxes when there are stray ones that you can drag over
Add a comment... I have never clicked so fast other than on Dead Meat's channel. I'm at work all day so I'm so happy i get to watch this and be somewhat merry at work. 😁
The “Join or Die” snake etching originated in 1754 when Benjamin Franklin wrote an article imploring the British colonies, depicted by initials next to the separate pieces of the snake, to join together and fight against the French and Natives during the French-Indian War. The iconic image then had a surge of rallying strength during the time surrounding the Stamp Act shortly before the beginning of the Revolutionary War. 😁
I usually make red rocket a minutemen outpost guarding sanctuary so I usually just add a barracks farm gun store and bar and I usually just keep 4-8 people there but my first playthrough I built a player home on the roof which I recommend if your playing on survival difficulty or if you just wanna build something
I like the idea of the Red Rocket acting as a provisioner waypoint and "last stop" type eatery, considering how far away the next nearest settlement outside of the starting triangle (Sanctuary, Red Rocket, and Abernathy) can be. I route from Sanctuary to Red Rocket, then from Red Rocket to Abernathy, Starlight, and Tenpines.
Your voice is so soothing. I'm listening/half watching while at work and it's really nice. Thanks for that, and for building/decoration ideas. I've only recently gotten into actually building my settlements with intention (which can be frustrating, as someone who has played the Sims for 24 years - Fallout's build mechanics can be WACK).
FYI if you don't know about the wire free / wifi glitch, you should definitely look into it. Skooled Zone has a great video on it. It's a little tedious but boy does it help.
I love watching your videos, you’re so pretty and create just as beautiful outposts. I look forward to more of your content and reviews of the show! I hope if the franchise focuses back on the elder scrolls series it also carries over these successful dynamics of the game that I can follow in my own enjoyment but along with yours as well. I really enjoy listening to your settlement base builds while I replay the game and am greatly inspired by your builds for my own! You’re awesome!
I like your idea for putting a market on top of the roof. In my most recent playthrough, I'd put the shops where you put your diner. Thanks for some more great ideas, looking forward to your next video!
This red rocket feels like a nice place that could become a real town. I always use the weird shape of the roof as a rocket platform in the shape of a wood warship defending sanctuary For the diner booths, you could add lower ceilings with their own lights to keep the energy low down to the table. Changing the height of ceilings across large rooms is a fun pshcyological trick used by casinos and grocery stores
Time to start a new counter for every time you say "cute" just like whenever you say "lovely." (Can't win, huh?) Anyway, good vid. Keep up the good work!
I'm amazed how you build without mods, I need to have at least the scrap everything one so I can remove those ugly bushes/grasses and the trash all over the floor 🤣🤣 great build as always, I recently found your channel and I'm loving all ur videos ❤❤❤
0:01 reminds me of how I had an actual, named “Minuteman” at the Castle follow Preston and I beyond the settlement and thank him, acting like she was just a normal settler out in the wasteland. Ma’am, you literally work at our HQ. I also had Trashcan Carla come up and thank him too. Give ME some praise for once, settlers.
I love your builds they give me such good inspiration for my own as i dont like to build large crazy structures. Question though, could you have used the rug glitch to move the clinic counter into the existing counter? I must try now
I looked up when a rough estimamation of when Fallout 5 is to be expected. Bethesda wants to release Elder Scrolls 6 first so the default thought is 2030. 6 years is plenty of damn time to make sure items fit better in places you want lol
16:51 Floating explanation..... I'm assuming you are familiar with the "rug glitch." If you try to rug glitch that particular shop you will eventually discover the point at which it actually sits on a rug is several feet off to the side and not actually under the shop at all. I'm not sure why Bethesda made the collision so bad on that shop but it is really bad. Because the point of contact with the ground is so far off to the side it is likely trying to set itself on top of that dirt pile and causing it to float.
And for some reason Bethesda didn’t bother having the real Preston offer any unique dialogue if he’s with you as a companion during this. Huge missed opportunity!
I don’t understand when everything is dismantled😏 of course everyone’s construction business, but I personally don’t like it when such little things are destroyed
Watching her scrap all the personality out of that place breaks my heart. I know, each to their own. Some very good ideas I saw in this settlement build, but so much scrapping of even little things that gave that gas station some lived-in personality was hard to watch. No disrespect, people build how they build but my design aesthetic fell along a very different path. Still, I thank you for giving me some definite ideas. That shack next to the modest farm was definitely something to build in my next play through. I had been waiting for your take on Red Rocket. ⬆🤔
You are thoroughly insane! Every fallout 4 player needs to modify every single weapon, test it out, especially when they have new cool modded weapons! Right? Or is that me?
Why are you scrapping the workbenches? It makes me infuriated! What purpose will you have for the garage? A living quarters with a large red workbench in the middle of it?

Thank goodness I never fast-travel
Wow didn’t know this! These three settlements are the ones I like to spend the most resources in. Good to know.
@@Vladimirlives13 don't mind the warning, see what happens.
Same problem, even more brutal on console
What do you mean with "they share a cell"?
“Preston’s on the roof because of course he is.”
Absolutely channeling Bob Ross but for fallout builds
I had the exact same thought! She’s so calming and positive.
Red Rocket is usually my personal player home, I even resist connecting it to a supply line because the provisioners can be annoying.
Get the brahmin-to-eyebot mod, works for both provisioners and caravans
@@lvl76darkelf I don't mind the brahmin. It's the provisioners themselves that get in the way.
I use it for my player home and a “Companion settlement”. That way I can always find my companions. Lol
40:45 - I like to put purified water in my clinics! It's another thing that stands up nicely, and it makes sense for a wasteland doctor to also provide safe, clean drinking water.
even though i wouldn't personally use red rocket like this. You are still an amazing builder and I love watching you play.
Thank you so much 🥰
you might not notice that you do it, but the affirmations you say are so helpful!!
Our queen of lovely returns 🙌🏼✨
I’ve been watching since the first build and it’s been cool to see how much these builds have improved with each new video. Lovely.

What a mood with the floating Bar. Classic Fallout.

Really enjoying this series, it inspired me to create a giant 'treasures' market at Jamaica Plain and it was fun to listen along while building

I built without mods for a long time. I still keep some of my tiny settlements mod free. It makes you think outside the box.

You can use one of the bar lights and set them inside the old outlet they fit seamlessly
@IfThenCreate I Suggest Putting A Little Green House On Top Of Red Rocket. If Not I’m Sure Your Build Will Still Look Awesome
there is a fake Preston that tries to scam you in a random encounter, naturally it doesn't work very well.
WHAT that’s amazing!!! Haven’t seen that before!
He's a younger looking version of Preston. It's funny!
And for some reason Bethesda didn’t bother having the real Preston offer any unique dialogue if he’s with you as a companion during this. Huge missed opportunity!
I use the back part inside for the clinic
Also, there is an invisible tree at Red Rocket.
Dammit! I JUST finished Red Rocket devoid of your inspiration. I'm not super pleased with it either.
Time to rebuild? 👀
